Q: I have a battery under my rack Will this still fit thanks

If the battery is under the rack, it shouldn’t affect placement. For what it’s worth, I threw mine out after a couple of weeks because the zips were awful and didn’t close on the side bags.. really would avoid this one personally unless the zips have improved, but you’ll never know until you’ve used the bags.. bit of a catch 22, probably best to find something else in all honesty

Q: I see that the zips are exposed and have no flaps to cover them. Are these waterproof in the instance of a sudden downpour?

It comes with a separate rain cover to go over the panniers although my husband hasn’t used it yet or used it without the cover the rain so we don’t know. Sorry!

Q: Is there a way of preventing the panier catching on the wheel?

Use the Velcro straps on the back of the bags to secure to the pannier frame.. might be worth adding a photo of the problem to get a better answer though - not sure where you’re referring to the bag rubbing..
