Nahji is even more beautiful in person than in her photos. I am an adult collector. Her earrings come out and can be replaced. The pearl part is separate from the dangle (the dangle is cheap looking). Her dress is a soft knit and good quality, it velcros in the back. Her leggings are also nice with a printed pattern on them, they slide on and off. She does not wear underwear. Her head band is attached with a thread, like the dangles and bangles are also cheap looking (appropriate for a child, something I will replace). For now I've left the clear plastic bands that keep her shoes from coming off of her feet in transit. They are made of a rubber and fasten at the back. Her choker comes off and is somehow attached to her top. I had to snip a thread to separate it from her dress. Her hair is super soft with the scalp beneath it painted dark. I've attached a photo.I've now added Rahel to my collection. Like Nahji, she is more beautiful in person than in her photo. I like her jewelry better. One thing to be aware of, her necklaces are not actual beads, although they do like them them. If you want to remove them, they have to be cut. I left the dangles on her earrings as they are quite pretty. Her plastic bracelets are rubbery so they can be rolled off her hand (although it might be harder for a child to take them off or put them on). Her outfit is quite stunning and well made. Her top is a bodysuit. her shoes are sandals without backs so the attachment bands will stay on until I make her new shoes.

Absolutely beautiful! Great quality, gorgeous face and I love the educational aspect too. I got this for my 16 month old because she LOVES dolls (took all small parts away for safety). She had found my childhood American girl doll and I wanted to get her something that she'd still love but wasn't so expensive that she'd ruin at such a young age. These dolls are such a great value- extremely affordable but not flimsy on quality. The doll is a huge success with my 16 month old. She won't put her down! The only thing- I wish the characters had books like the AG dolls to get more in depth with their culture and characters. Hopefully they'll come out them! I'll definitely be buying more of these gorgeous dolls for my daughter.

This doll is in par with Paola Reina dolls. She is beautiful and her jewelry looks metallic. I love the attention to details. There is even a hair band on the comb! I'm a collector and I'll treasure this doll for years.

Shamefully I have to admit that I'm an American Girl and Wellie Wisher addict. During the past few years I wouldn't even give another doll brand a second look being convinced that American Girls were the best. Because I make and sell doll clothes for fun, I wanted to be sure my Wellie Wisher clothes would fit similarly-sized dolls. After combing the internet, I came across these Hearts for Hearts Girls. I ordered Dell and received her today. Quite frankly, I am blown away by her beauty. Her hair was kinked due to the way she was packaged, so I took a chance on setting my curling iron to the lowest setting to get the creases out of her hair and it turned out beautifully.In my attached photo, I have her standing next to AG's Willa and as you can see, she is just as beautiful as Willa (if not a little prettier in my opinion). Her hair is rooted and can look a little sparse if not styled right, but since I've noticed a huge decline in the quality of the AG hair with my last few purchases, I won't knock off points for that. In fact, as I compare these two dolls, I can see no justification for the Wellie Wisher dolls costing between 40 and 50 percent more than this doll.I love this doll so much that I've already ordered another Hearts for Hearts Girl (Rahel). I would highly recommend her to anyone.

"Zelia": Very Beautiful cheerful looking doll with lots of auburn hair and lovely skin tone. Though a redhead doesn't really seem the type to be a farm girl on a Brazilian coffee plantation..... Her little sun dress is very sweet.I bought this in order to make a new wardrobe and give to a little girl. So the silly back story and accessories are chucked. This is going to be a girl doll with 1930's style wardrobe. I want her to be more interesting than a cliche environmentalist SJW doll.Also, great secure packaging.

Okay, so this is gorgeous doll that any little girl would love. I purchased the doll based on the picture (and to be fair, the picture is the same on the box). My niece is 1/4 African-American so she has light brown skin and medium brown hair. (She also has blue grey eyes). I cannot find a doll with these features so I was excited to get this doll and my plan was to modify the eyes so she would finally have a doll that looked like her. Of course, when I got the doll I was dismayed to find that her skin tone and hair were much darker than pictured. Again, all in all, a beautiful doll but as my intent was to find one similar to my niece's unique coloring: I had to return it. My hunt goes on!

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday and she loved it. Also, it seems like a really good quality. She has two AG Wellie Wisher dolls and the Heart For Heart dolls seem similar quality. She also has a 14" Melissa and Doug Victoria doll and the Heart For Heart doll is much nicer and about the same price. Her hair is very soft! The clothes seems well made. My only minor complaint is that the necklace is sewn to the back of the shirt so if you want to change her clothes you have to carefully snip the thread that attaches the necklace to the shirt. She fits into all of the other 14" doll clothes as well.
