Convenient Pods for a Great Cup of Coffee
This brand offers a variety of flavors in convenient pods. The coffee tastes rich and smooth, and the pods are easy to use for a quick cup at home or the office. They are a great value for the money, too! A simple way to enjoy consistent coffee without the mess of traditional brewing.

The best I've tried - great customer service, too!
I've now tried 5 different Nespresso-compatible off brand capsules for use in my original line Nespresso machine. Bestpresso is by far my favorite. The Ristretto is fragrant and bold without being bitter. I use it daily to make a triple latte and not only is it delicious, it also saves me a considerable amount of money over the Nespresso capsules (which are still the best, truth be told). I appreciate Bestpresso offering a high quality, great tasting, affordable option. As to customer service, the Bestpresso Store is a pro. Amazon shipped a smashed up box of Ristretto to me, inside a typical Amazon shipping carton that was not damaged. I was absolutely astounded that Amazon would ship a box of coffee in such deplorable condition. Bestpresso packages its capsules very carefully and very well, and the outer box is not cheap or inferior in any way. The box I received was smashed, torn, worn, taped, and had holes in it - and this was INSIDE an Amazon shipping carton. Of course, this was no fault of the Bestpresso Store, but they sent me a new box of Ristretto free of charge, even after Amazon refunded my purchase price on the damaged box. Now that's customer service!

Taste preferences are more important than brew time. This brew may be slightly over-roasted.
This is a pretty good blend, but in my opinion, the beans have been slightly overcooked. This quality issue [overcooked] has been mentioned before by others and perhaps some prefer a stiffer roasting of beans. I do not. I will most likely try a different blend next time depending on the feedback I get from the company. I like my beans slightly less cooked. Also I did time the brew from Nespresso and Bestpresso capsules. Initially, it looked like the Nespresso original brewed about 16 seconds faster than the Bestpresso brand. But I suspected some bias here. So I started over by cleaning my machine and waiting for it to cool. Then I placed Bestpresso in first (42 seconds). Then the Nespresso (31 seconds). I waited for the machine to cool and reversed. I placed the Nespresso in first (44 seconds). Then the Bestpresso (34 seconds). So I think that even though the READY lite says that it is ready to insert the capsule and start, I think that the machine is probably still heating up a bit more while brewing that first cup. Your machine may be different, but this is how my little test played out. Overall, I think the primary difference is more importantly: individual taste preferences. Keep in mind I love coffee, but I am not an aficionado by any stretch of the imagination, and I do prefer the original - slightly. But this could change with a different flavor. In short, I like choices and Bestpresso is - for now - one of mine.

False Economy--May destroy your machine
I am concerned with these capsules since the flow of water through them is extremely slow. I compared the flow of these vs a Nespresso capsule. The water came through the Bestpresso much slower and it sounded like the Nepresso machine was straining. Concerned that this would become a false economy, I've stopped using these capsules after using 5 in total. I liked the flavor and would have been pleased with them if not for the water pressure required to make the coffee. Another concern: These capsules are plastic and seem to not be recyclable. I do NOT recommend purchase of these. They will not accept returns.

UPDATE: Verona best flavor of the best deal
Tried the Bestpresso variety pack, since have gotten a few 100 packs to see my favorite after day-to-day use. Verona was my clear winner. For me it rivals or beats anything Nespresso offers. See original review below. ___________ I’d been using the earlier plastic capsules for awhile. Didn’t love them but the price made it worthwhile. Since they went aluminum for the past few months the flavor is considerably fuller without the sour notes. Also now there is very little water leaking into the collection tray. They’re not coincidental: the water being used efficiently is creating better extraction. Recently my nephew sent me a Nespresso variety pack. I gotta say, I preferred my Ristretro Bestpresso to most Nespresso flavors. And it did get me to buy the Bestpresso variety pack to see if there’s a flavor that can knock Ristretto out of the daily driver position. So far Intenso & Verona have my attention. We shall see.

Good coffee! Capsule issue is your machine.
This coffee tastes good! It’s nice, strong, and priced right. I ordered the Nespresso brand sampler, 2 other non brand coffees and this Bestpresso to do a full flavor compare and the Bestpresso was our favorite out of all! To those who are having capsule issues with non Nespresso branded coffees, do you have a Mueller machine? The water injection syringe on the Mueller machine is short compared to the Breville models. So only the brand Nespresso capsules which are fully puffed with air or the generic brand capsule with the foil at the bottom will work reliably in the Mueller (the cheapest non Nespresso brand capsules are usually flat on top and plastic bottomed) If you ultimately want to use the cheaper capsules then you have to get the more expensive Breville model machine. We returned our Mueller mini machine and got a Breville mini. Haven’t had a capsule issue since!

Not my favorite
I'm updating my previous review to state, these pods are just not my cup of coffee. They are very inexpensive and may be fine for others who may not be as particular as I am. I just found the flavor to be significantly different than I am used to.

Great taste, worth the savings over Nespresso pods
I was expecting the worst if I’m totally honest, but as an avid Nespresso Ristoretto addict I was really impressed with the quality and taste. Well worth the huge cost saving for a fractional reduction in taste difference. Only minor complaint is the quality control - the occasional dud pod that seems to brew with very weak flavor, but at most this is 5 pods out of a batch of 120.
