It simply works.If I would suggest something to the manufacturers is to have a simpler way to change the settings. It is a pain having to keep the booklet and find the right barcode to change a value.Why don't you make the barcodes available on a website that is easy to use to make a change, instead of having to keep the booklet with me at all times?Other than that, I like this one and in fact own two already.

This is a simple device. It does the job.That said, I did have one issue with it. It only seemed to affect us in COM port mode, so if you don't need that, this might not affect you. When we got the first batch of scanners in, we were getting this error:This device cannot start. (Code 10){Device Timeout}The specified I/O operation on %hs was not completed before the time-out period expired.We contacted support and they provided a link to a firmware update (which was not available from their website directly). After applying the firmware update, all the devices worked perfectly. I would love to give you a link to that, but when I tried to include it Amazon rejected my review, so unfortunately you will have to email support yourself if you need the file.

I think the barcode scanner has great value. Feels well built and the stand is very nice. I plugged this into my Ubuntu laptop and did not have to set up or change anything. The scanner worked right from the start

Did not work for my square terminal or on the iPad. I am able to use it on a computer with a little bit of work around.

The good. So far it works. Maybe not as good as they make it sound but it does work.The bad. Cheap made and Way over priced for what it doesn’t do. Does not seem to want to scan automatically and it’s impossible to scan manual while in the cheap stand.NO instructions included.The ugly. Box appeared to have been opened and item was in a box for a different model product. The box looks a bit suspect and this model is nowhere to be found on the actual Tera website so wondering about it’s actual manufacturer.Help and tech support is basically non existent. You have to message or email and wait a day. They ask for model #, I answer and am left waiting another day for a response. Useless.But it does scan barcodes. So there’s that.Would I recommend? Hm, probably not. I would suggest trying a different company.

For such an easy device it is overly complicated to use. When I attempted to download the user's manual it is password protected and I had to contact the manufacturer for the password. I would not suggest buying this unit. Zebra and and WonNice are just as nice units and a lot easier to use.

Bought 3 of these for a retail POS environment on windows PCs, plug into usb port and works perfect.If you leave them for a while they stop working and have to be removed and plugged back into the usb portAny idea what causes this as it is a little annoying?
