Capri Tools 3/8 in. Drive SAE Shallow and Deep Impact Socket Set (24-Piece)

This was Expedia shipping and an awesome product.

No issues so far using them with my portable DeWalt impact.The package they came in was destroyed, probably dropped a few times during shipping and the sockets broke the plastic package they were housed in. Not an issue if you're planning on removing them but is an issue if you keep them in it to stay organized.

I use these in a professional setting and so far so good. Fitment is great. Easy to read and they are cr-mo which holds up better than cr-v does. I've had no issues with them. Highly recommended.

I get a little ocd when buying new tools and i've been searching for a good set of impact sockets, this set is great because it has mid-length and the sockets are barely thicker than chrome onesALSO THEY SHIPPED THEM NEXT DAY AIR, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased the 3/8 & 1/2 impact socket sets, and they look and feel pretty decent. Wall thickness is good, stamping, and laser etching are all presented ,and done well. The inner broaching, and the rear un-chamferred ends are similar to sunex. They are decent sockets for the money, and not a terrible choice for DIYers, but the metal mix or the heat treatment that they use leaves the metal too soft. It gets marred up QUICKLY!! The metal bends and mushes with blows. After just a few uses the rear was marred, and the inner broaching was very marred as well. Like we all do with our sockets we beat on them, and bash them, use them in press kits as spacers, and beat out wheel bearings with them. If you take a better quality socket like a tekton, sunex, or higher grade tool truck brands, and bang the sockets together edge to edge, the better brand sockets leave these micro dents on the capri sockets, but not on the other brands. The chrome moly mixture, and or the heat treatment they use leaves thier sockets to soft for extended impact use, and don't hold up to the rigors of daily professional use. The drive end of these sockets wallow out extremely easy because if this softness.

Got this sockets yesterday I order them for work and open when I got to work and I'm missing some socket it says 30 pieces well I count 14 shallow and 12 deep 14+12=26-Update now they shipped out the missing sockets now have a complete set

What's not to like, this Capri Tools 3/8 impact socket set is comprehensive including all sizes from 8 to 22mm and the set I purchased included the shallow and deep sockets. They fit great on both my cordless and air powered impact wrenches and I like the fact these sockets while laser-etched also have the size permanently rolled/stamped into the socket near the bottom so even if the laser-etching wears off, you still know what size the socket is. Highly recommend picking this set up if you want a complete set of 3/8 drive impact sockets at a reasonable price point.

These are a great no skip set, but since this is 15pc per size I can't find organizers that go along with it.A little bit annoying to put into the impact because of the flat cut like another reviewer mentioned. I thought it wouldn't be as much of an issue but it does annoy me more than I thought it'd do.Reviews on Amazon and their website mention this coming with the aluminum organizer but mine did not.Since the box is sturdy and holds the sockets nicely it's not too bad, but I am disappointed that for this price they don't include the partnered organizer to have them standing up.I'd still recommend this set to someone but only if they can get it at a lower price since the organizer doesn't come with.
