This pen has a River Buffalo Horn and Ivory barrel that is turned, sanded, polished and sealed with wax. The sanding and polishing process on the pen barrel is a 12 step process that shows this material to it's fullest beauty. With its sleek industrial look and clean lines, the Knurl GT is a real head turner. The precision-cut knurled finish diamond pattern on the tip and end cap provides a comfortable feel and writing experience. You will find the pen has an ideal weight and balance to it. The hardware on this pen is gun metal. This pen uses parker style ink cartridge that comes with the pen. These ink cartridges can be purchased at any office supply store for continual use. The body of this pen is made with river buffalo horn, and each end has a band of ivory on it. The river buffalo horn is real and has the natural imperfections in it. This particular one has one that is very interesting looking to me.
