Excellent quality
I would like to write this review because this product deserves it. The brass is of excellent quality and the matte finish adds more beauty to it and durability. It remains the same after usage for a month now. Making coffee with this induces the brass flavor in the coffee. This is authentic to the old Madras (chennai). The size is the very good, this is the actual size in which we must have a strong coffee. Heat is retained to an extent , but since brass is an alloy of copper it is super conductive and the heat dissipates quickly if you looking to have your coffee slowly for longer time. Kumbakonam city is famous for its coffee. Brewing your kumbakonam coffee made from a brass filter and having it in a brass cup is the best experience.

Good quality
Product is as shown in the picture. Heavy and sturdy. Good in quality. After using this tumbler once, I realized brass conducts heat twice higher than steel. The tumbler got real hot and transferred the heat from coffee to outside it’s surface. Result: Tumbler surface is hotter than coffee. Other than that, it’s a very well made product. I would recommend.

The metal cracks after just a few uses. Not well-made at all.
The product look beautiful when I received it. It seemed take enough and study enough but on using it just for or five times I noticed tiny cracks forming towards the middle and on the lip.It is quite obvious that the product has not been made well and the metal has been stressed to the point of cracking and eventually breaking. The item is quite expensive and one would expect it to last a lifetime. I would definitely not recommend it for this reason.
