The thermometer reads a couple of degrees low. I use it in my refrigerator to adjust the fridge and freezer temps.

If you want to monitor you fridge/freezer temperature, this is an excellent choice. It's simple and easy to read. It is also a way to determine if you need to change fridge or freezer setting and know whether your unit is working well.the accuracy is sufficient for the most purposes. The best feature is easy to place and read. Excellent value!

I bought two of these one for each 12 volt thermoelectric cooler I use in the truck I drive all over the country. With these two sitting in my fridge at home right next to each other, they both read the same temperature with about a 2 degree difference between the two, with the same result in the freezer. That is disappointing considering what a simple device this is that they cannot make it read the same. Amazon is slowly becoming like Walmart.

taylor is a well known usa brand----------where its made now who knows----it seems good quality---only gripe i had is scale should have two different color zones --one for refrigerator --the other for freezer---i knew that it didnt going into the purchase --but i needed one right away-----it works good --looks well made---

This is not a rectal thermometer. Buyer beware. Friend tried it and was surprised he was able to make it fit. Also had alot of questions how he did that and how hard the nurses & doctors were laughing at the hospital. Glad I had 2 of these. Accuracy is on point in the fridge and highly recommended for food handling/safety

Can’t beat the price. We bought 3 so each of our appliances would have one. First, we checked to see that all 3 we’re calibrated to the same temp and then placed them together in each appliance. They all gave the same reading each time and matched the digital reading that one of the appliances indicated. We don’t anticipate any problems with them.

I wanted to check my new Ref. temp. Dials (Ref and Freezer) read 1,2, etc. So you guess and put them in the middle.6 is suggested by manufacturer. But what does that mean in degrees?? I used thermometer and noted that "7" was perfect for me.
