100% Real Review
I really like these. I've owned the Sony XM5s and the Bose Q45s, not counting the Skull Crushers, Marshall's, Beats Solos, and Soundcore Q35s, because none of those compare to the first two. I will keep it real here, these are not the 5s or 45s in sound, or design quality, but they shouldn't be. I paid over $300 for those two and paid a 3rd of the price for these. I got these used for like $86.The Sound Quality on these Sonys are very good not great for the music I listen to. I listen to mostly Hip-hop, then r&b, Soul, and Gospel when in the mood. These for sure bump. The bass on these are clean, crisp, and just bang. The bass is actually better than any of the headphones listed above. I consider myself an audiophile, I've always been into music and quality sound. Searching for the best sound I can find. The mids and highs on these don't compare to the 5s or 45s at all but they also aren't bad. For the price, build quality, and battery life, you can't go wrong. If you love strictly vocals these don't super shine in that category. If you love bass and want a nice clean sharp sounding headphones, that should last a while, these are amazing for what I paid for them. If these go up to original price in the mid $200s I would just spend a little more for the 5s because those are the best headphones I've ever heard from the ones I've listened to. For sub $100, for the music I listen to, these can't be beat. My one and only complaint, which has been mentioned in the comments, is they don't get as loud as I'd like, which is sad because they for sure can handle it. At full blast they will give you a great experience and the noise canceling is very good. Again the 5s and 45s are better at noise canceling by a small margin, see a theme here? But on a plane, I zone out, and am in my own world.Bottom line you won't be disappointed unless you want to lose your hearing at a young or old age I guess, and need honestly speaking, too much volume. I wish I had more volume but not by much. These work just fine, and it's probably a good thing they don't get louder because I'd listen to them as loud as they would go, that's just me.

Headphones are my life! Let me explain.... I've always loved Headphones from a young age. A Walkman was with me from birth it feels like. I Dj'd in the early 2000s and Headphones became more somehow. I'm a full time detailer and music is very important to me and helps me work. I've been through hundreds of Headphones from old plug in to Bluetooth and I've hit so many brands. I was earbuds for years until a coworker turned me on to over the ear 3 years ago. I took a chance on a no name brand and was pleasantly surprised. Cheap $20 headphones lasted 2 1/2 years and were great. Then I got a new job ,started making more money and had to work in a very loud shop. My $20 headphones didn't sound the same. I knew I was due for an upgrade and battery life was starting to go on My cheapies. I was put into a place like most that I had to upgrade and thought it would be easy and cheap but I was very wrong. I spent a week researching and reading reviews for every headphones. When I Dj'd my favorite headphones were my Sony Mdr-v700dj and paired with my Sony erricson Walkman phone in 2008 were a very sweet setup. I knew I didn't want to spend crazy money on headphones because wearing while you work definitely risk breaking them. So I ordered these with the idea I'll just return if I don't like. I hated them the first day! Sound was horrible, fit was tight, connection was horrible and I couldn't figure out controls. Went home that night ready to return and remembered reading a review about a Sony app for them. I downloaded it and it fixed all sound problems! Extra bass now worked! Connecting through the app made weird crackling go away. Still unsure of returning I brought to work again. I don't read instructions I grab and learn. I didn't realize it had a noise canceling button and just thought it always had it on. In this moment every sound was pushed out and the music was just clear and perfect. Extra bass makes it sound like a little subwoofer is in there lol. Waited 3 months to write a review so I could see if they are tough and they hold up well to my work environment. Happy to report I've figured out and really love the touch controls. When I was searching I didn't think I needed this but it's awesome and I'm not sure how I lived without it. Phone calls too.... my old headphones calls sounded horrible on both ends. These sound creepy good 👍🏻 like they are in the same room
