Great Credentials Wide Stainless Steel Spreader Kitchen Knives for Sandwiches Butter Cheese

This knife spreads butter, cream cheese, or other such food items without a problem and is easy to hold, even if you have arthritic fingers (I don't but a friend of mine does and used this without a problem). The width of the blade is perfect and spreads easily. The serrated edge cuts even cold butter easily. This knife is easy to clean, and the wood handle is not slippery and feels comfortable in the hand during use.

Must have for kitchen. Great for making sandwiches. Good quality and function. Reasonably priced.

This is an elegant well-made addition to your daily life! Some slices of my bread are so long and large it has taken me quite a while to get them buttered! While this is a small thing in life, it is also rather time consuming. Finally, it occurred to me that there must be a "butter" way! So I typed in wide butter knife on Amazon. Wow! I chose this one since the price was right and it looked nice in the picture. It is true to the picture, and also it is light in weight. Now I can butter swiftly with a few swipes, and it does make a difference. I will add that I am slightly handicapped in my shoulders, so it's a wonderful tool. Recommend highly.

Very useful little knife. It spreads everything from butter to mayo on sandwiches and then you cut the sandwich with the same knife. It spreads frosting on cakes or cookies with ease. The handle has the perfect balance. And to top that off, it's attractive!

I like the feel of it. Not too large, not too small, not heavy at all. Spreads peanut butter and jam, which is mainly why I bought it. Wooden handle doesn’t do well in dishwasher, but nothing made of wood survives the dishwasher intact.

This is a very well made spreader and the stainless steel blade is commercial quality. The wood handle with brass rivets is as smooth as silk. The serrated side of the spreader is sharp and functional.

Perfect size and weight. The edge is very sharp for cutting too. I have multiple of these and is a go to kitchen item.
