Saved my bacon.
I had lost the keys to the original lock on my cabinet. This one installed easily and locks up nice.

Great fit
These replacement locks worked perfectly. The fit was great. I was worried about the nut on the inside from reviews I read , but for the gun safe I was putting the on(Hogan)was perfectly ok. This are metal gun safes and if your worried about the nut being small , you need to invest in a new safe . YES these did work and will keep kids and honest people out.

Great Quality Gun Cabinet Replacement Lock
I was given a Sentinel gun locker from my mom after my dad had passed. Unfortunately, no key was found, and I had to replace the lock mechanism. So, I drilled out the lock and reached inside to pull the one sliding bar where it was still catching on one end of the frame. I then removed the old lock mechanism from the inside latch. I did have to drill out the square slot a tad on the locking latch so that the slightly larger threaded end of the new lock would fit. I also had to slightly bend the one sliding bar for smooth movement. Then I tightened the nut to new lock, and it works perfectly. The quality of this new lock is better and looks better too.

Worked on my stack on gun cabinet. Better than a standard key since it’s harder to pick. Install was relatively easy once I figured out the arm movement.

Easy to install and works fantastic
I have a Homak gun safe where one of the original locks needed to drilled-out as it failed. This new lock took 10 minutes or less to install as well as it fits and works perfectly.
