Prevents back pain *by T***E on November 16, 2019* I'm petite with a short torso, and this Cotill back brace fits me well. I had to return a different one because it was too wide, and it didn't feel tight enough around the waist. This one is 8" wide. If I'm planning to be on my feet for a couple of hours, I put this brace on, and it prevents lower back pain later. I can feel a difference if I don't use it. What I like about this back brace is the dual adjustable straps, the two pairs of flaps to secure around the waist. The second strap gives extra support. The length of the longer strap is 35", and the length of the shorter strap is 28". I bought another one for my aunt who works in the food industry, and she said it has helped her. For reference, I bought the size S/M, and my waist is about 27". It's comfortable and well-made. I recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a good value and does the job *by H***E on February 5, 2020* I have to wear a back brace (required for my job by the company) all day. The back brace provided by the company didn't fit me (shoulder straps too short), so I selected this one based on reviews and price. This fit the bill. It does provide good support, and I got some third party suspenders to meet company requirements. I have only one caveat. The support strap is not secured to the 'belt' of the strap with velcro, you have to use the velcro of the opposite side to hold both the support strap and the belt itself. I found some large safety pins, and pinned the support strap to the belt on that side, and it works nicely that way, no discomfort at all. I wear this 6-8 hrs a day, and am very pleased with the overall quality and comfort this brace provides. I recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Back Pain *by M***L on September 15, 2018* I built a barn in April 2016 and ended up with lower back pain. Purchased the support belt and removed the barn in Sept 2018. The belt is great. Supported my back, little too no reoccurring back pain, and I plan to use it with other property owner activity (firewood cutting and hauling). Easy to put on and you can wear it under clothing or on top. Gives close to same support far as I can tell.Also if you have a weak back, sitting at football games can be hard on the back.
