Works Perfectly with My KitchenAid Mini — Heavy-Duty and Reliable
I purchased this stainless steel dough hook for my KitchenAid stand mixer mini and it fits and performs exceptionally well. I struggle to find attachments for my precious 3.5 QT mini and I’m glad I was able to find this affordable dough hook. It’s very easy to attach and use.Right out of the box, it felt solid—definitely not flimsy or coated like some original accessories. I appreciate the all stainless steel construction, especially since it’s rustproof and there’s no risk of chipping like enamel-coated hooks.I’ve used it for bread dough, pizza crust, and even some heavier pasta dough—this spiral hook handled it all without strain. Cleanup is effortless: dishwasher safe and easy to rinse if you’re hand washing. If you’re replacing a worn-out dough hook or want to avoid the chipping issues of coated versions, this is an excellent upgrade. Just double-check your model compatibility.Pros:• Heavy-duty stainless steel• No chipping or coating to worry about• Easy to clean• Kneads evenly and efficientlyCons:• Haven’t found anyOverall, I’m very pleased and would definitely repurchase.

Flawless Product! How did I ever bake without it?
I can’t imagine giving this less than a 5-star rating.Fit: PerfectQuality: Top-notchWeight: 8 oz of stainless steelValue: ExceptionalPerformance: PhenomenalSatisfaction: Extreme.Yes, I would buy again (but won’t need to unless it’s lost). Yes, I would recommend (it’s a game-changer.No, I have no complaints. One caution: it almost works too well. I’ve had to reduce some of the kneading times to avoid developing too much gluten—usually about half the time specified in the recipe. I think I can live with that.Any serious baker or cook with a KA mixer would appreciate this upgrade. If you’re buy a mixer for a newly wed couple, a Mother’s Day, Christmas or birthday gift, do the recipient a favor and gift this (and the paddle), too. If you’re spending $300+, what’s another $30–$60 for a hook and paddle?

Doughn't Mess Around—This Hook Means Business
Move over, original coated hook—this stainless steel upgrade came to knead and absolutely conquer. If my old dough hook was a polite handshake, this one is a firm, “let’s get to work” kind of grip. Heavy-duty? Check. Spiral-shaped like a steel tornado of gluten development? Double check. It laughs in the face of dense sourdough, mocks pizza dough resistance, and twirls through bagel mix like it’s dancing on Dancing with the Carbs. Bonus: it's dishwasher-safe and not flaky (literally—no peeling coating!).In short, this dough hook is like giving your mixer a personal trainer. You’ll wonder how you ever lived with the wimpy one before.

I should have bought this sooner!
I had been meaning to buy a replacement for the enameled hook that came with my kitchen aid. This thing rocks. With the other hook, my door would always end up, walking up the side of the bowl and be trapped between the flat top of the hook and the bowl. This keeps the dough in the bowl while still working at consistently. I wish I would’ve gotten it sooner. I ordered the size for the mini.

Works great. Definitely worth the money
Works great. Definitely worth the money. Way better than the dough hook that kitchen aid gives you. Better at grabbing the dough. Feels like it requires more power, but as I go deeper into bread making I realized that kitchenaid mixers need more power for bread. Kitchen aid mixers feel like they’re made for cakes not bread. Make sure you get the right one for your machine. If it’s scraping your bowl, you have to adjust the height. It’s as simple as loosening or tightening a screw. Lookup how to do it.

Works Well
I’m glad I made the purchase. I had been looking at this dough hook for a while but thought it was just another gimmick. This hook works the dough so much better than the old KitchenAide one that came with my mixer. The dough came together better and my loaf rose higher. Recommended.

works & fits well
I've used this for a few batches of bread now, and I've been happy with how it works. Fits my mixer well and I haven't had to adjust it at all. My old one was scratched and testing has shown that several of those old attachments have lead, so I wanted to replace it with stainless steel. I'll probably replace my other attachments with this brand as well. Kitchen Aid doesn't even make this piece in stainless steel for my mixer, so I was happy to find this (and at a lower cost than other Kitchen Aid replacements!)
