RZ Dust/Pollution Mask w/2 Laboratory Tested Filters, Model M1, Splat, Size Regular/Large

I don't typically write reviews but I was on the website trying to figure out customer service so I thought I'd try and help the next person make a better decision with my information. I purchased this a few months ago (Fall) and just started using this about a month ago to filter all the pollen out of the air I breathe when I ride my motorcycle to work. In about a month, the neoprene has broken on both straps, hanging together by only the tiny bit of elastic on the front and back. This elastic is also showing signs of wear so the straps will be completely useless after a few more uses. The plastic exhale vent that you remove to replace the filter are near impossible to tighten completely. I had to get a screwdriver and needle nose pliers and got very frustrated with it. Should not be that difficult. There are small bits of lining fabric that surrounds the cheek vents on the inside. These small circular pieces of fabric are coming apart and the mesh that covers the cheek vent are now rubbing on my skin and rubs red. Finally, the darn thing slides down my nose every 1 second. The strap Velcros to the other strap below the ears and low on the neck. There isn't a second strap higher on the head to help with the mask slipping down.

Bought two of these for our trip to Cozumel for the X-Rails adventure and they worked great! Also figured we could use them for riding our dirt bikes and as a general dusk mask. Nice design and fits well once you get it adjusted. The regular size actually feels a little small. I'm 6'1", average build. I think the large would have been better. The youth size is perfect for my 10-year old son.I was able to breath well with it on. It's less restrictive than most other mask-type filters I've tried in the past. I didn't notice any of the chemical smell others have noted, but I did unpack them several days before I used them. My only complaint is that the filter replacement is a little difficult. The outer plastic "valve" should be affixed to the mask, but it's not. When you remove the valve, the whole assembly comes off and it's a little tricky to get it back together and aligned just right.Overall it's the best system I've tried like this. I would recommend them!

Worthless. Regular size doesn't fit for a women's face. Have to tighten it so much so that it would stayed on that I couldn't breathe. Going back.

The biggest issue with this mask is that the size is just WRONG! I purchased this with great expectations, but was incredibly disappointed once I tried it on. Even though this was sold as a LARGE, when I put it on, I felt like I was wearing a child's mask. It is far too tight and far too small. It only covers my mouth.I wish the size would have been right, I liked the concept of it.:(

This company went way out of there way to help me get the right size mask.I have severe breathing problems from working at Tank Farms on the Hanford site. My lungs are damaged from unknown chemicals. This mask helps me go into stores that bother me and be around large groups of people and I can now pump my own gas. It is helping me to be able to do more.

wore this at burningman and it lasted about half the week with heavy use before the material started breaking down. Considering the conditions it was used in, id say its a pretty good product. It was a little bit big on me but, still worked.

Breath easy

It was nice and felt comfortable. The only thing was they need to make sure that the velcro is complete as in have both sides with the proper attachment. I had one side with the fuzzy piece and the other side was missing the hook and loop piece. I fixed it myself by sewing the missing piece on. Need better quality control.

Use this mask in my wood shop when carvingGood product for a short term use, the Nose piece seems to get a little uncomfortable after a few hours on, maybe I don’t have it set properly, or size is wrong for me..With the 2 filters, the mask does fit small as said on other reviews. I ordered a large as I wear a large in several other masks but am Going to reorder a xl to tryLooks good . Like how quick it is to put on.

Es buenísima , al principio me apretó pero ya con el uso se Olga y no aprieta la recomiendo al 100% ya que me redujo la alergia en un 80 % a causa de la contaminación

Not entirely blown away with the comfort of this mask, also doesn’t seem to make a very good seal on my average shaped face.

Smaller than suggested if your a average size human buy the XL otherwise it would have been great I’m 150lbs and it’s way to small and I have a small head. It does fit my wife who fits child size helmets soooo yeah get the xl

Used for sanding/drywall. Works exactly as described.
