Pretty Special
I've taken these out on 3 runs now in the rain. Here's what I think: I'm a bit of a headphone snob. I have a wide variety, yet very picky when it comes to what I'm looking for. How picky? This is my 6th attempt at finding the right headphones for running and other workouts. I finally found it! Just for reference, I own B&W C52, V-Moda m100, and Sennheiser HD 800 S and love all of these premium sounding headphones. For the past few years the Sennheiser OCX685i Sport headphones have been what I've been using. These are very good, but have a bit of a stale sound, not much warmth to it, and lacks the bass that you gotta have when your running around and seeking adrenaline from your music. Whenever something new came out, I'd try it (and return it), hoping to make a significant upgrade. Along with the Sennheisers, I tried the Bose Soundsport (didn't like the open air sound), Jaybird X2 (constant bluetooth connection issues in my heavy populated urban area), and Powerbeats 2 & 3 (seal wasn't working for me, and didn't like the strap in the back). I gave up on the bluetooth and now prefer wired because they are typically lighter, better sound, more durable, dependable, no battery to charge, and cheaper! They sound fantastic, and when you compare them to the Jaybirds & Powerbeats, the V-Moda Forzas are underpriced and worth every penny. In my opinion they sound just as good, probably even better than Jaybirds & Powerbeats. They are pretty detailed, very good soundstage, and yes - it packs that signature sound V-Moda bass. My only initial complaint at first was the placement of the remote control. I prefer it lower around my chest area, the Forza remote control is under the right ear. I didn't think I would like this, however after trying it I haven't noticed it all. I don't like reaching up that high to change the volume, but really not that big of a deal. The packaging is the best I've ever seen for earbuds. It comes with a hug variety of hooks, wings, and silicone tips. I use the hooks and works great. It took me a little while to find the right placement and get comfortable, but now it's automatic and goes in great. They are comfortable and I NEVER have to make adjustments while I'm running. I typically go out on 3-5 mile jogs. The seal is perfect for me. If you are looking for WIRED earphones for physical activity, I believe these are currently the best on the market.

Punchy bass, crisp highs, can’t beat the sound quality for the $
I love the way V-Moda’s sound. Punchy bass, nice crispy highs. I’ve owned the wired & wireless Forza Metallo, and now these Forza Hybrid Sports. These seem to stay snug in my ears a little better than the metallo. And seem to weigh a tad less. I’d buy them again.

Not completely safe, but definitely full of great sound!
The sound quality is superb, and the level of comfort that V-moda creates truly sets the standard on what active user ear buds should both feel, and sound like. Although, I digress, even plugging and playing is a wonderful experience with these magnificent light weighted beauties. Though there is one slight setback, and that is the elongated earphone jack. As convenient as it seems, standing outward and curling slightly, it's very long, and one slight bend can alter the sound and fit on mobile devices. I'm still very confident that this device is incredibly sturdy as stated in their production line slogan, but don't confide too much in it. The bend is only worsening as each week day passes in my case, but don't be discouraged! Definitely look into this pair! It's absolutely worth it!

For $99. music/sound strolls, is durable. Great clarity/fun/punch for small size, not audiophile territory, but close with EQing
Most computer audio sources have HD compliant technology as base features..decent amp. and even internal equalizers to customize sound. Also if you bluetooth from phone it depends on the phone/setup, ext. speakers, and streaming software quality. Fit, I have larger ear canals, so I've seen lose fits and would prefer the industry include an XL pair for $0.30 (cents) more, however, these fit well, and rubber did good in a profuse sweat gym session. only minor adjustments occasionally 3.5. Durability, I like. From a visual, cheap as cheap phones, however, cord has resilient bounce on slight tugs/hangs. 45 deg plug is nice. 4/5, after 3 months use. Sound, It's there. This thing with good sourcing, takes highs and separation well and sends back good sound spectrum, highs mids lows. 4/5 Mic, works well used in gaming. Casts well with increased windows settings among in game noises. I get the sense I'm heard well. 5/5 Warranty, looks pretty good. I look at quality, feedback, and warranty and is why I chanced these for new good sound. 2 year? 5/5 good. At $99, I know I'm getting good computer/android support instantly, with -pretty nice- sound, I know my purchase hinged on durability. These have lively jump in the chords with slight tugs and snags...resilience more than damage felt. The 45 deg. connector, good for cell phones with top inputs. I would like to see these fully hold up without having to hit a 2 year warranty submission for any reason. I think that depends on the inner components and parts that are "shielded" that produce/transmit the actual sound from everyday use/handling. At military spec, that covers a good gamut and I think these stand a chance. 3 months use, still solid. At $99, the other crucial component is sound output, these things are a frequency workhorse. Clean Bandit's Symphony shines. Highs and mids, nice. Lows are nice, bass is punchy not imposing. ALTHOUGH sound output levels are not the highest and even depends on your streaming source a good bit, they are acceptable and with good (EDM) beats these really stroll when you get good vibes, leading you to continue the stroll into whatever awaits, getting that experience, is there. On the mic, I haven't bothered to use outside controls of windows but that will be interesting as I remember. I give a hearty 4 for the price point, and with good optimism on repeated use for mostly in-home application (i have lower cost earhook BT phones for mobile/workouts that do a great job) I'm quite pleased with this company's offering..still curious about the sound output even. What would have gotten these a 5/5, was a higher degree of vivid detail/burst, or a lower price point even, but. All things considered/OVERALL I feel quality in every aspect and that gives me assurance this company can backup a 2 year warranty. I'm still curious about what these do, I think at $99 bucks though, you may ask yourself if you truly want top sound and full headphones, for home us- because these dont clip and you can get better sound for about the same/little more. These hit a small mobile niche of on the go ease, not totally over-ear secure-hinging or audiophile listening but rather low consumption on the go versatility. For that fact I dont think youre going to find a much better deal without doing a lot of testing, and the warranty is there. But I don't think it gets better at this small size. I'd rather paid less.... ***Update*** Highly suggest using an equalizer if possible to get these to tune. Since they are a workhorse that shape really quite well depending on what you're listening to, and make for a better experience. After 3 months of regular wear/usage these have broken in, rather than broken like cheap headphones will. I've got these babies screaming and even bass jumps with sacrifice to some other elements, sounds great.
