Does exactly what it says on the tin. My Grandson loved it.

Thinner than expected. Grammar poor (der Ballon, not die Balloon, der Brokkoli, not die, to name a few). For £8 I would have expected a lot more. I can put this together myself, if I wanted to. Read in another review that a native was involved. I dont think so. Will return.

A lot of the German in this book is wrong and reads like it came from Google translate.

Terrific first exposure to German for little ones! Lots of colorful pictures with easy words to start them off with exposure to a new language. Fun for mom and dad as well. Danke!

This book is helpful for kids and adults alike

I bought the book "My First German Book"! I'm really very disappointed, it was supposed to be a gift for a boy starting German in September! Since I am German myself, I noticed a lot of errors in the translation after reviewing the book! Side 2 die balloons/ wrong is der Ballon , der Yacht wrong is die Yacht !!! Side 6 der Kreise wrong is die Kreise !!! Side 11 die Brokkoli wrong is der Brokkoli!!!! Side 12 ein wrong is eins !! Side 27 Lange wrong is lang

It's legit and amazing! I am a native German speaker and I can say that this German English Children's Book is made by a native speaker as well. This is what kids need, not those books sold on Amazon that are just translated by Google translator.

Now I know all the normal German words
