150 Denicotea Standard Filters for Cigarette Holder

Smoking is unhealthy - full stop. But for those of us still smoking, these Denicotea Standard Filters use pure silica gel crystals - the same stuff used in desiccants to keep moisture out of products and foodstuffs. Silica gel beads are safe and non-toxic. They're also effective as filters for tar and nicotine - published research backs this. You can visibly see it draw tar and nicotine as you smoke and you can taste the strength of your cigarettes increase as the silica gel filters need to be replaced; plus, they become an ugly dark brown-black. These filters do not alter the taste of your cigarettes at all, but they noticeably reduce the strength when starting with a fresh filter. This decreases as you smoke a few. I started using Denicotea ejector cigarette holders about 2 months ago and love them. Buying the filters in 150-pack sizes (~17¢ each) is much more economical than the 50-pack size. I replace mine roughly every 15 cigarettes so 150 should last me 2-3 months - I imagine your mileage may vary depending on what strength cigarette you smoke - full, lights, ultralights. For me, the cost is about 1.1¢ per cigarette. Well worth the price! I do recommend these filters along with Denicotea cigarette holders. My favorite is the Denicotea Lady Ejector Series! Seriously, the ejector makes it so easy to use 😃.

I've been using denicotea filters since the 1970's. Before using the filters, I used to have terrible bouts of bronchitis and wracking coughs - I used to be a very heavy smoker in my 20's, and now only smoke a pack a day, at the most. For a number of years, I had quit smoking and then decided to smoke again due to some pretty heavy life issues - smoking really calms me down and it is my only bad habit. Of course, I started having coughing issues again, and was diagnosed with reflux disease, which is aggravated by smoking. Then I remembered the denicotea filters, and after searching for them on-line I found this great seller on Amazon, E Wholesalers. I ordered my filters from them and they're perfect. My cigarettes taste great with them, and the best part is - my reflux stopped, along with the worrisome cough. I would definitely highly recommend this seller and this product to all smokers!

They tturn brownish black after about 1 pack of cigs, collecting all the tar and a respectable portion of the nicotine and other noxious chemicals that would otherwise be redecorating your lungs and moving in with their slovenly friends and irritating relatives. No offense, but not a neighborhood I want to live in. And these babies do it without changing the flavor and draw of your preferred brand .... You'll take some ribbing over using that classy-looking black-with-a-gold-band Roosevelt-style cigarette holder, but then...... they're probably not talking to you anyway cause you're a ..... you know ..... lowlife smoker, polluting the notoriously pristine city air that they drive their SUVS thru to get their twice daily fix at the nearest burger jernt / pizza parlor / steak house / Donut shop. AM DESPERATELY HOPING THAT THESE COME BACK TO AMAZON SOON,..... so many of the things we;ve depended on Amazon for down the nearly 20 years we've been members have disappeared. It's disheartening. And in a strange way, frightening, cause if you can't depend on Amazon and the miracle of next, or even same day, deliveries, what's left to trust ???!!!????

I have used these cigarette filters before. I enjoy the fact that they retain excessive nicotine and your fingers nor your lips have the smell of cigarettes. The only negative experience is that cigarette stores and other shops do not carry them, therefore; I order them on-line.

This is my second time buying this product and it really helps to reduce the yuck. I find that I can no longer smoke the harsh cigarettes I used to smoke which is a good sign towards quitting. I'm finally down to ultralights with this attached. To my thinking it helps reduce harm with a emphasis on eventually quitting.

I've been a smoker for too long, and I've tried nicotine gum, nicotine lozenges, and e-cigs. None of them helped me rid of my urge to smoke, so I decided to try another alternative and found these. I realize they are not as great as quitting completely, but you can see from my picture "the before and after." The "after" is after smoking 5 Marlboro Gold 100's (formerly known as Marlboro Lights 100's), so I recommend buying quantities based on about 5 cigs per filter. It's amazing to see the gunk that these things are filtering and preventing from entering my lungs, and the smell is "YUCK." I recommend getting at least two holders, because you'll want to soak and clean one and let it fully dry while using the other. The holder gets smelly and starts tasting funny without somewhat frequent cleaning. Another great benefit is that my fingers don't have the smell of cigarettes anymore.

I don't smoke cigarettes, but Denicotea also makes pipes that use these filters. Even though they are 9mm filters they only seem to fit in Denicotea pipes (as I have many 9mm pipes and they do not fit in any of them - way too tight). For years I used the Dr. Grabow with paper filters but the silica crystals are far superior in removing the excess moisture and tar. These filters are essential if you ever find yourself forced to smoke some of those large plastic bags of drugstore pipe tobacco - which can be somewhat "wet" and sticky from heavy applications of PG. Of course, all filters do slightly reduce the flavor of your tobacco, but I consider it a fair trade-off to produce a more pleasant smoking experience. In a pipe, I change the filters more frequently (1-2 uses).

Beside those balsa filters or the falcon filters that are more absorbers than filters, these are the only pass through filters that don't change the flavor of tobacco. If you smoke bulk ribbon cut tobacco than who cares but if you are like me and you like a more expensive flake tobacco you don't want anything changing the flavor of the tobacco. Most charcoal filters change the flavor or mellow it in a bad way. These filters don't do that at all. When I just want a lighter smoke, I use an EA Carey magic inch or Savinelli balsa or a Falcon International filter(not a dry ring) but when I want to filter a strong nicotine tobacco without compromising flavor, Denicotea is the only way to go.
