Quality Product
This is easily the sharpest knife I’ve ever bought. Quality is great. I couldn’t be any happier with this knife.

Amazing quality for the price range
Knife is fantastic. I’ve bought fancier, more expensive name-branded knives and this one is just as good. Sure, not as many folds, but it cuts well! 10/10, completely recommend for the price.

Now that's a sharp blade
This knife is so sharp, it's a bit scary! We cut a pork loin with little to no blade work, just pushed down. Then we had lots of fun seeing what else we could cut with this almost laser-like blade. Beautiful workmanship and carrying case, very clear directions for maintenance and care. Good buy.

Beautifully made.
This is a beautiful knife! - It appears to be exceptionally well made. It is very, very sharp. The weight is just right and seem perfectly balanced. It came in a nice wooden box, with a sharpening stone and separately packaged cloth. I haven't used it much yet - but just great so far.

Awesome knife, handle not so much!
The knife is impressively sharp, looks great, and feels excellent in hand. These are just my first impressions, but it seems well‑made and the presentation is outstanding. I’m giving it four stars only because of the handle—its construction could be more refined, and the joint between the two materials isn’t as clean as it should be. Will review again after using it for a while so how it retains the edge!

NOT made in Japan. Misleading.
NOT made in Japan. The description, photos and title are misleading and deceptive to make one believe they're made in Japan. These are made in China and is of mediocre quality. Now, it's too late to return this embarrassing gift as Christmas is tomorrow. ひどい買い物だった

Great knife great price
I got this knife about 3 weeks ago because ive never used Japanese made knives for work, especially a Santoku. I wanted to ease into and see how it felt. It’s become my main work horse. It’s light and sharp as hell. I haven’t sharpened it since I’ve purchased it. It is still hold and edge and extremely precise. Absolutely worth the price and more!

It’s fabulous
It’s fabulous, beautiful forged and to look at, well made, sharp, balanced in the hand, pure luxury after managing with a dinner table steak knife for too long…but back at the ranch (!) I’m used to wusthof and henckels so I do know knives. It’s a beautiful knife. Beautifully packaged too.

Great value, absolutely incredible packaging.
In terms of the actual knife, it's good. It's absolutely a cheap stamped knife, but for the price you cannot go wrong. I'm familiar with all sorts of kitchen knives, high and low end, and this knife held up just fine. It's really hard to go wrong for 60 CAD. The pros were definitely unpacking it (honestly nicer than any high end knife I've ever purchased), and the handle was very well made and comfortable. Balance was okay, and out of the box it was shaving-sharp. There are a couple of cons. (Absolutely nitpicking from a guy who's experienced with knives) They include blade thickness, blade geometry, and the paint coating. Blade thickness is really quite thick, it's not heavy but it affects the cutting performance, especially near the tip of the knife because it is the same thickness as the heel. The sharpness makes up for this somewhat. The blade geometry is okay, definitely a rocking-intended santoku. The blade has quite an aggressive curve similar to a western knife, so if you use a knife with a push-cut or tap-cut style, definitely look elsewhere as you won't cut through the food all the way. Although if you are comfortable with using a rocking motion, this knife will cut just fine. The black paint on the knife is very slightly chipping, but as it's cosmetic I don't have much problem. Looking for a cheap but sharp knife with flexible geometry? You won't be disappointed at all. There's not much this knife couldn't handle.
