Ran over a carpenter's nail after a week of installing this inner tube; highly recommended!
I ordered and installed this inner tube just a week ago after I discovered the inner tube in my back wheel had a very small leak in it. This tube is noticeably thicker and heavier than any other tube I have ever seen or felt. Installing it is a simple as could be. It was perfect timing that I ordered this tube because today, while on my way work, I ran over something about the size of a carpenter nail and it went straight through my tire and through this inner tube. Unfortunately, it caused a flat to happen within 15 seconds and I had to walk for about 5 minutes before remembering that this tube is filled with the green slime tire sealant. I quickly placed my hand pump on the valve and filled it up enough until I was able to continue riding it to work! It is still holding air! I highly recommend this inner tube to everyone!

1/16" limit?
How big of a puncture will these take? I ran over piece of glass causing about 1/16" razor thin slit in tube. Easy to locate since green sealant flowed to area but would not stop the leak. Tried slowly inflating over many hours with tube hanging so leak was at the bottom to help sealant gravity flow to area but didn't stop leaking.I'd probably buy again since I went 3 months with no problems compared to almost weekly tube patch/replacements with the cheap Bell tubes Walmart stocks. Next step is probably the addition of a RhinoDillo type puncture strip between tube and tire or a heavier duty tire.

So far so good......
I could not find a presta valved slime tube for kenda cross tire I was going to put on my 29er, I found this Michelin tube and thought I would try it.I have run the tubes for a month so far and they have worked really well. I used slime tubes before which were ok but all the cactus spikes around here would give multiple punctures every day and I would lose 10psi a week from the slow leaks. The Michelin tubes have lost 0 psi over a monthThese Michelin tubes have worked well for me.

Market Gimmick
Had a flat about 2 weeks after putting them in. Luck of the draw on the flat and I don't hold that against the tube. However, the tire advertises that it is pre-loaded with sealant; has a compression reaction, etc. It does none of those things. The puncture that occurred was a very thin (and sharp) thorn. The hole was so small that it was barely visible but the tube leaked like a sieve. With the bumps it makes roadside patch very difficult. Didn't see to hold air better than other tubes. In short; looks like market gimmick to me. I wouldn't buy them again.

Haven't had a flat since changing to these tubes in ...
Haven't had a flat since changing to these tubes in March. I ride about 75 miles per week in NYC, where the roads are filled with glass and potholes and cracks

Did not seal for me.
Had a small tack puncher the tube. The tire did not seal. Had to use a spare tube to get rolling again.

Magic!
These are amazing. These are the strangest-looking tubes I've ever held. More like an alien sex-toy. But they work. Now if only I could find some tires that don't blow.

Not Good
I am a huge fan of Michelin tubes and buy nothing else. This, however, was my first self-sealing tube because it was the only Michelin tube available in my size, 700x35. The nut on the valve stem would not unscrew, and the valve core was loose. The packaging was a bit deformed. So I think this tube was a reject being recycled. When I was carefully but despondently folding it up for return, the sealant started leaking. So back it went and I installed one of my old non-self-sealing Michelin tubes, that I had saved, into my new Michelin tire. Works great and I still love Michelin.

Bien

Helps in a situation of puncture.
Helps in a situation of puncture. adding liquid increases cost as such. which is not required for this tube

Muy buena
Se me ha pinchado y no se podia reparar, puede ser que venia dañada de fabrica, Amazon me lo ha resuelto y me la ha cambiado por una nueva. Muy contento.
