They work as described
Having tried a variety of LED replacement bulbs for my sidelights and then finding I have an error showing on the dashboard of my car I decided to try these YONGMING load resistors. On my car the two front sidelights are on a single circuit. Once I had fitted one of these resistors wired in parallel with the bulb circuit I was very pleased to find that my LED sidelights are now working error free. These load resistors are supplied as a pack of four which also includes 8 red and 8 blue connectors for tapping into existing wiring. The important thing to bear in mind with these resistors is that they get very hot when connected to a circuit which runs constantly unlike when used for indicator lamp circuits.I decided to add some additional wiring to each resistor to enable me to screw it directly onto a metal chassis plate with screws away from contact with any other functional part of my car.I very strongly advise DO NOT fit these resistors cable tied onto existing wiring looms or in contact with anything which could melt or be affected by high temperatures. They work by acting like a halogen bulb drawing sufficient current through the lighting circuit to mimic a standard bulb. LED bulbs consume far less energy which can make the lighting module of a car behave as though there is a fault in the lighting circuit. As a consequence of their function these resistors produce heat just like a halogen bulb would. In summary based upon my own personal experience, these resistors work as described and have solved the problem I had with dashboard errors. Recommended.

2010 Ford Edge Rear tail LED upgrade
Had to install these to reduce voltage when upgrading to LED lights, to stop the "fast blinking". In the Edge the rear area is a little tight to install them ( you will need Metal screws to install them) had to find a place to put them. Easy to connect with the vampire connectors or you can splice them in. YouTube was easy to know which of the three wires to connect to and used a line tester to make sure. I used the two outside ones. These will get hot so try to make sure no wires are near them, I used some heat shielding.

Brief instructions would help
I'm not much of an electrician, so I had to do some online research to be confident I was installing these correctly. I needed these for my 2007 Honda Silver Wing to install LED turn signals. It's easy enough to do, but I wouldn't want to do it incorrectly and blow my circuits or fuses. The bottom line for me is that they work as they are supposed to. In my case, they are installed in an enclosed and protected place, so I cannot comment on whether they are weather resistant or not, but they look like they should hold up to the elements.
