An exceptional wireless unit at an incredible price!
The PTG-11 is an extremely affordable UHF wireless guitar system. The system is comprised of a rackmount receiver unit and rechargeable guitar transmitter (charged via micro USB). It also comes with rack mounting brackets, antennas, antenna extension cables for rack mounting, 1 ¼” cable, and a power adapter.I got to try the unit in a controlled setting at home for about 3 weeks before taking it on the road for a few days and, I have to say, my experience with it is overwhelmingly positive in both my home and live use. I do have a minor critique which I will get to in a bit, but overall, this is an exceptionally made piece of gear that works exactly as advertised and sounds fantastic. The manual states that it has a range of 165-175ft and while I wasn’t able to get that far away due to the lovely Washington rain, I was able to get at least 100ft away in my home and experience no dropout or latency whatsoever. The transmitter also has about 8-12 hours' worth of battery life, which is pretty absurd. The tone produced when using the PTG-11 is also quite good. I don't feel like I experienced any noticeable degradation in terms of my tone. Given, I tend to use more high gain amp models through my quad cortex, so I’m not as concerned in a live setting so long as the tone isn’t muddy, but even on the lower gain and clean tones, everything still sounded just a clear and full as it normally does. That being said, when comparing the raw DI between a direct connection and wireless connection to my UAD Apollo Twin, there is maybe a bit of added compression, but nothing I would consider bad or detrimental (highly doubt anyone would be using a wireless system to record, but you never know).Speaking in terms of my live experience, the PTG-11 performed perfectly without any interference from other wireless units or cell phones. The receiver unit is built like a tank and the transmitter is super light and fits very snuggly into the output jack on my guitar. One of my concerns was that, given the transmitters design, it might be a little loose or potentially fly out while playing. Thankfully such was not the case. On top of that, I did not need to charge it at all for any of those days we were on the road and it still had plenty of juice after our last show. This does bring me to the area where I think the PTG-11 could be improved. I think the receiver unit is designed perfectly and feels extremely sturdy. The transmitter unit, however, while not feeling cheap by any means, feels a lot more fragile. Obviously, you try to be as careful as you can, but things can happen on the road and the plastic that houses the transmitter electronics feels like it could break if dropped from high enough onto a hard surface. I feel like this could be improved by either using more durable rubber material or simply going with the more traditional pack design you could attach to your strap. Also, this is a very minor thing, but I do think it would be cool to see future units be chargeable by USB-C since those are much more common nowadays. All that being said, I think this is an incredible unit and definitely recommend it. You would be hard pressed to find a better wireless unit for the price. On top of that, Phenyx Pro’s customer service and team have been extremely helpful and very communicative, which is always extremely refreshing. Will definitely be trying more gear from them in the future!

Great audio quality and range. So glad I added this to my rack.
Easy 5 minute setup, very easy to use.Single rack size with ears or feet for desktop use. 2 rabbit ears for the back. Great line-of-sight range. Around corners not so much-but the channel-switching feature automatically finds a better frequency with less dropoff. Very fast switching but still noticeable. Under most normal use one would be within the line of sight anyways. Battery life per session has been 3-5 hours with no loss of signal/fade from the transmitter. Full charge is about 2 hours via standard micro usb cable. Very firm snug flex on the 1/4 jack, no worries about the unit dangling around. Only the tiniest amount of background hiss/artifact added under the highest gain settings. Far more noticeable with single coils than humbuckers. Even then, you only notice it if you listen for it. Overall a great improvement over the budget $40-70 lighter-sized transmitter/receiver units Ive tried before. Higher interference and drop off around 15-20 feet. Very happy to be able to walk around the practice area without fear of cables. Also works great for pedalboard to amp as well. Depending upon use, a highly flexible unit. Very satisfied with this purchase. I have an unbox-live demo review coming to my you tube channel as well. GearJunkie35 username on YT. If you add this to your rack you will not be disappointed for the flexible useful return on a very reasonable investment.

May have been location BUT...
I Purchased this last minute to be able to use at a festival I was performing in. let me be clear, I had ZERO chance to test the unit before going to the festival so, my experience is a little swayed. Even after searching multiple times on multiple channels I was still running into intermittent cutting out on the signal. I was (in most cases) less than 20 feet from the receiver but, we were fairly close (within 1.5 miles) to the international airport so it >>could<< be a factorThat being said, when it was not having the cut out issue the sound was really awesome and the size of the unit is increadibly convenient.I was not displeased nor discouraged by my purchase, but, I did eventually have to go with a direct input at one of the most troublesome stages in order to be heard.Time will tell and I am pretty confident that the unit will function better when I am not right next to an airport.

Save your money!
I am a gigging musician, and have been for 25 years. I bought this system as a backup to have in case my main system fails. Luckily I tried it out at the house before I put it in with my road gear because it is straight up a junk. I scanned all the channels to make sure I had the clearest channel without any interference. Then I also hand selected channels to make sure that I picked the best channel. I could only get about 10 ft from the receiver tops before it started cutting out and losing signal with nothing in the way. Which will not do for me because the places we play there are usually tons of people sometimes walls and bars in between me and my wireless. If you're only sitting 5 ft from your amp this would probably be great. I don't hear any interference it doesn't distort and it sounds great but I can't stay by my amp. In other words it's getting sent back today. I have some cheap UHF wireless that I use for practice that work better than this. All they are are two little rechargeable USB plugs. I would highly recommend buying them for $30 than buying this. For a little more dough then this one you can buy an actual decent unit from Samsung or even a lower grade shure.

Wireless guitar system not so good.
Sound quality wasn't as good as being hard wired and the owners manual really is just bare bones.
