Sony 16-35mm Vario-Tessar T FE F4 ZA OSS E-Mount Lens (Black)

I was never excited by the results I got with this lens. I like the focal length, speed is fine and build is excellent but optically it just doesn't keep up with more modern lenses. I think it suffered from a lot of chromatic aberration, which gives a perceived softness. I sold mine and wouldn't recommend to a friend unless budget is their #1 concern.The Tamron 17-28 is a better lens, a stop faster but lacks OSS and the full range of this lens. And the Sony could be used successfully to defend yourself if it came to that!

I received this item completely unusable. the focal length ring is hardly rotated by half, we hear a crunch, it is not possible to set the value more than 22 (attached photo). In the description for this item, it was said that the state is new, but this is not at all true. The lens was dusty, scratched and broken.

Ordered lens as a warehouse deal, but the lens would not focus manually or with auto focus. Apeture would just flash a line and could not adjust. Wouldn’t order a warehouse deal lens again, they say inspected but clearly are not tested to ensure they work properly..

Perfect lens, great for landscapes and interiors. Or just a nice walk-around lens. Great for videography as well.

Zeiss glass is the best
