Never have I been compelled to write a review for something as mundane as a lamp so this is a first for the Beam Team. This lamp is awesome and a steal at current cost. Yes, it is made in China but this must be from the amazing quality factory in the Chow Mein province. The base is like 25lbs..no lie. The packing is amazing and keep your lamp glass safe. One small negative is that the 2 adjustable lower lamps aren't very adjustable. Don't plan on turning them 90 degrees.Dont plan on turning them 30 degrees either. Other than that the lamp is gorgeous..it's well made..and it's a good price. Buy today..cause the Beam Team said so. This lamp really is " Elegant " ! It is by my recliner so I can read, and I can ! I worried about getting it assembled and put in a request to Amazon's Home Services, and also " Home Advisor "....the service offers I got from them wanted $80 and $90 to assemble the lamp, which cost less than that. So I decided to try it myself....now I am a 70 year old woman with an arthritic back and hands...and guess what... I DID IT ! MYSELF ! PERFECTLY ! So you can do it ! And then enjoy it's beauty, and the compliments you will get from visitors.

I think this was the first floor lamp I've ever bought. Well packaged from the manufacture, and pretty easy to put together. One caution, be careful not to cross thread the pole when putting together. The pole comes in four parts and screws together. The Floor Lamp looks great, just the colors that fit well with the browns in my living room, very nice finish on pole, base and gobbles. Really grad I didn't spend more money on a more expensive lamp, this one is great. I placed some LED bulbs in the lamp and am very happy with the lighting. I like the way the switch will turn on the top light, the two side lights, or all three lights. I've placed in section of my large living room that was not well lite, now I can see without turning on the overhead lighting. A great buy for me! :-).

I like it very much. I laughed when I saw a review that said it was difficult to assemble. I didn't even look at the instructions when I put it together in about 5 minutes. My only complaint is the knob to turn it on and off is very skinny and difficult to grip and to rotate it to turn on the lights. That's it tho. It's very pretty in my gazebo. I use it to read once the sun goes down.

As other reviews have said this is a nice looking lamp at a great price. I put it together within 20 minutes. Everything works fine. Feature requests here. The reading side light goose necks only adjust so far. Would have liked a bit more flexibility to position. Also there are three lighting choices to toggle through, all on, top on, both reading lights on. I would have liked more flexibility in toggling to at least be able to turn either of the reading lights off as two more choices. Also be aware that you will need bulbs so put those in your cart before ordering. Still a great product and I would recommend.

Be aware that the switch on this lamp is only at the top. You cannot sit and turn it on. I would never have purchased it if I was aware of that. A really inconvenient design. It is going in the basement and I will have to find another lamp for my living room. Very very disappointed. I only gave it 2 stars because otherwise it is attractive and I would like it if you could switch it on easier.

Much better quality than I expected, especially given some of the mixed reviews. ERASY to put together even if you've never built a lamp from a box. Just remember to unscrew piece in each lamp to rescrew inside globe to hold it on. NOTE: there is only one switch that controls all of the globes: 1st turn-reading lamps... turn 2: top only...turn 3: all of them. Not a problem: I just did not note that in description even if it said so. Overall, tall, solid and elegant looking

The first part of the pipe (Part B) has a thread at the angle, therefore the whole lamp would stand at an angle. Cannot completely connect two pieces together. The stand would just break. Have not even tried to connect the other pieces, as I am so disappointedThis is a manufacturers defective fault. Amazon has been very helpful, but it means repacking the lamp and sending back for refund.The packages are extremely heavy.I bought two of these lamps, have not opened the other package, as I am heartbroken regarding this defective lampIt was to be my Christmas present. Now I will not be ordering any more floor lampsI did read other customers feed back on these lamps, some people love the lamps. Other people have had problems.I would give these lamps a zero star if I could.Nan

This is a beautiful lamp with a soft warm glow, reminiscent of a more elegant time. There are three settings, one with the top lamp only, one with the reading lamps and one with both. We used this lamp to replace two floor lamps in our living room and are so glad we did! It is really a lovely piece!

Most inconvenient location for the on off switch, way at the top. I have to stand on sofa to reach. Also if you place it in corner behind something like end table it's that much harder to reach. Another thing I don't like, you can't really move the small ones exactly where you want, it won't stay in position, downwards for example, which means they aim in your face. Overall disappointed.

Easy to assemble however it doesnt stand straight on the base. Wobbles from base to pole. The two arms mid way don't bend to point up or down. They stick straight out and the light is basically right in your eyes so we have to keep those 2 off and only use the top light which defeats the purpose of 3 lights. I would return but I threw out the box before realizing these things.

well..its gorgeous, took less time to put it together than to put the bulbs in, the little plastic bases; spin them out to put the bulbs in secure = the little arms are actually adjustable, i wish i had more control over which light lit on command but i paid more for the lamp i hated from crappy tire this replaced and i like this one way more. its stable, balanced and so far i an only get two of the three lights to work but i am still pleased enough with it...if i could figure out what that third lights issue with i would give it more than 5 stars, it a very pretty, stable,nice unit. packaged nicely, idiot proof assembly - and the threads lined up easy
