The Neogen Gloves are tight going on. I would order a larger size if they are to be worn over a brace or cast.

Q: what is the thickness of the material?

It feels slightly thinner than a ziploc bag, and so far no rips.

Q: are these gloves food safe?

I wouldn't think they would be good for use with food, but not sure if safe or not,
