Kilbarry Emerald Isle Ball Pen/Capless Roller Ball Pen (WF/452/GEI)

I purchased this pen to replace my Cross. This is a smooth writing pen with a heavy feel. The workmanship lives up to their statement of the pen being handcrafted. My only detractor is the pen point clicks when lifting and setting between words. However, it is kind of pleasant in a small way. Kind of like how some writers like the feel and sound of a typewriter.

I own four Waterford Killbarry pens. This one is my favorite. The green guilloche is really beautiful. It appears very well made and looks much more expensive than it's price. It feels very solid and if you like a pen with some heft this is perfect. I had trouble with another Waterford Killbarry I purchased, the lacquer finish became discolored and seemed very cheap however this one seems to be of very high quality. I also own a red one which appears to be of the same quality, well made and visually striking.

These are beautiful pens! The green color is so vibrant and pretty...but also masculine. We got them as gifts for some men, and they loved them. We took them somewhere locally and had them engraved, this makes them very special gifts...and worth the price for a special occasion - I think for a man or a woman.

This is one classy pen that has increased my facility for writing ten-fold. I highly recommend it to all aspiring writers.

This is the perfect pen. Everything is just right. The weight, proportions, color, design are all excellent.
