Pionix Extra Power Fabric Shaver is truly impressive and a must have for sweater lovers I was frustrated using the battery operating hand held shaver, just not enough power, still had those fuzzies and went thru a ton of batteries. Went on Amazon, read the descriptions/reviews and then googled the best rated device that was available, and the Pionix kept popping up. Well, ok let's try it. I noticed the yellow was less expensive than the black color (by $6) which is ridiculous for the exact same device. I put the shaver to the test on my oldest Irish Aran sweater, thinking if it was destroyed I wouldn't be as upset as it gave my years of warmth. Two speeds, 4 very sharp blades under a protective screen so not to cut my fingers off, holding my breath as I gently ran the device over the sweater sleeve. One to two swipes over the pills and I was so shocked to see what looked like brand new wool yarn and it was soft! By the time I was done, I had a large soft pile of yarn pills I could have made a pillow! Looking over the sweater, the razors did not cut the yarn stitches and my sweater looked brand new. My sweater was exfoliated! Needless to say, I ran upstairs, yanked open the closet and out came all of my sweaters, hats, scarves, knitted or crocheted. My kids dived under their beds as they saw all of the garments flying out of my closet. Cleaning the device is easy, just be careful when handling the blades as the rotary head does have a certain way of laying in its tray. I wore the sweater the other day and while standing in the department store, someone admired it, asking how I took such great care of my sweaters as she battles with wool pills and high dry cleaning bills. Smiling, I told her about this device....

The media could not be loaded. So glad we got a corded version of the fabric shavers out there! We have couches that have been pilling for 4 years now and nothing ever gets the lint up once it is knotted. We decided to pull the trigger on this one due to the reviews and durability.pros - relatively quiet, no battery to rely on, extra blade, takes up pilling well to make fabric look brand newCons - if you are doing larger items like couches, it takes a while due to the size. You also have to empty the cartridge fairly frequentlyOverall- extremely happy with this purchase! Our couches (that we got used) look brand new again with this tool! It even works on decorative pillows to make them look brand new as well!

Very impressed.I'm new to lint shavers so the first one I bought had a ton of good reviews.It had a (2000amp/h battery and cost 2 and times more than the cheapest ones, so I figured that it was probably a good choice.I used it on my wool coat, and while it did shave some of the pilling, I wasn't impressed with the job after going over it a second time, so I returned it.Then I found this shaver, and am I glad that I did.As soon as I got it I shaved my wool coat for a third time and it looks great.I then used it on another wool coat and it turned out great the first time.This thing works!

I bought a battery powered fabric shaver a few days ago and was underwhelmed with the power, battery life and time it took to get a good result. THIS is what I should have gotten in the first place! The motor is strong and it takes a fraction of the time to remove pills and lint as the battery powered options. You need to empty the reservoir and shaver head frequently to get consistent results. Warning: I did accidentally shave a small hole in one of my sweaters when the head got snagged on a large pill. I recommend testing on an inconspicuous area of a sweater you're not in love with to choose the right setting and to practice your technique before going all in.

After that last disappointing wireless shaver, I was hesitant about buying a corded shaver, but Jeez....it's really strong and did the work. Saved me so much time. one thing though, you have to be extra careful using it. Don't press too hard you might leave a hole.

I have a huge sectional couch that looked great in the store but became covered in pills the second I got it home. I've been using a regular rechargeable fabric shaver and it worked ok, but it took forever and I couldn't do the whole couch at once without needing to recharge it (and give my arm a break). Then I decided to see if there was a better product, and found this guy. It's a true powerhouse. It is way stronger than my old one and I was able to do my whole couch in about 30 minutes. I am very happy with it!!

God I loved this little machine when it first came. Everything I wanted: powerful, easy to use, corded (which to me means no winding down due to weak batteries), and it just flat out worked! Trimmed and sucked away all the stuff that makes fabric look used, tired, and old. It was just GONE!🎶“AT LAST, my love has come along…”🎶 Etta James was singing to me in my head and heart about this miracle. As I was using it, I was writing a love letter type review in my mind. But then, so soon after (same day I received it and started using it) my love affair with this device with which I was so initially impressed, just stopped working. Just STOPPED! Checked everything! Filters-go, cords-go, blades-go, electricity-go. I fretted and fought. Cried, screamed, and prayed for hours.Sadly, we were no longer go for launch. I was ghosted by this machine.I’m so sorely and sadly disappointed. My former love shall return from whence he came. But I will prevail and THE SOUTH SHALL RISE AGAIN!Anyhow, long story short: got it, liked it, stopped working within a day, returned it, ordered a different one.
