Great product
Purchased this for my epi-type injector pen, which must be kept chilled. Intended for home use, as I kept laying the pen down after use and forgetting it. This way, the pen will be kept cold until I return it to the frig. However, this is a really good quality case and impressively attractive. Its padded and will, no doubt, protect the contents from drop or bump exposure. I chose this over others because it came with two ice packs made to fit into the chiller pockets. The interior pen/injection holder is removable but secures to the case with Velcro. Extra storage pockets and quality zipper are icing on the cake. I had hoped for an ok product and got a great one instead.

Sturdy, compact, nicely organized, good value, and PURPLE!
Fortunately, my medication is a little forgiving as to temperature - I did not buy this primarily for cooling/temp read out. The thermometer (as several others have mentioned) either does not work or is very difficult to read, so if that's your primary concern, consider a different solution. Or maybe add another small cooling pack and a different thermometer.THAT SAID, this is perfect for my needs - a compact, well-organized container for traveling with injectable medication. It's got room enough for alcohol swabs, pen needles, a small needle disposal container (search for "Sharpiz"), the pen - everything I need. It's sturdy and surprisingly well-made. AND it comes in my favorite color: PURPLE. The price is right, too. Love it!

Nice case for short duration (<8 hr) trips
I used this travel case to transport a nasal spray that needs to stay refrigerated. I took it on a two hour plane flight in my carry on luggage. Including the drive to the airport, arriving early for security and check-in, and driving to my destination after landing, the entire trip took about six hours and the medication was still cool on arrival. I also took it on a car trip. In that case, the trip took eight hours and outside temperatures were in the 90s, so I placed the case inside a larger insulated cooler with additional ice packs, so it wasn't a true test of the case's ability to stay cool for long durations. The manufacturer recommends that you don't rely on it for longer than 6 - 8 hours. My suggestions for improvements are the following:-- The straps on the inside of the case are custom-sized for insulin supplies. They did not fit around my nasa spray bottle, so I had to just lay it loose inside the case and be careful opening it so it didn't fall out. Some sort of adjustable velcro stray arrangement would be more flexible.-- The ice packs are very small, but even so, when they are frozen, they put pressure on the items in the center of the case. My nasal spray bottle had to be placed along the spine of the case to fit.The exterior case has additional pockets that could be used for more ice packs, although that might exacerbate the space issue just discussed. The additional packs might extend the duration of time that the medication could be kept cool.Overall, this is a handy case and met my needs for short trips carrying medication.

Great kit, would recommend to everyone.
This insulin cold pack-kit stays cold for a very long time. My freezers temp is roughly 4 degrees Fahrenheit. I experimented with it and took it out around 3PM and the ambient temperature was around 75 degrees Fahrenheit. From 3PM to 8PM the temperature had increased from 4 deg. F to 64 deg. F (60 degrees F total) - roughly 11 degrees lower than the ambient air temp. Thats a12 degree increase per hour. I bought a Govee bluetooth thermometer to keep in the insulin kit permanently. It's a great little bluetooth thermometer. You can set a minimum temp alarm and a max alarm on the app. I am in a southern state that gets into the hundreds in the spring & summer. I don't trust the temp strip that it came with. Plus, every time you open it up to check the temp, it's getting warmed up just a bit. I bought two extra cold packs that I'm going to put in the kit for a total of four. Add a little fiberglass inbetween the pack and case and it should stay gold longer. Here's a graph of the temperature increase.

Awesome for travel.
Great quality bag. The included ice packs are great. they stayed frozen for about 8 hours during a flight and car ride from NYC to NC. There was still a little ice left and my medication was still cool. I tried it out during a work day before I used it on the flight to make sure and it stayed cold in my bag quite well. Big enough to hold my pen, some needles and some alcohol pads yet small enough to fit inside my carry on and not take up much space. Got through TSA with out incident and no questions.

Well made, love the color
This product seems sturdy and well made. Bonus that it came in my favorite color. It fits my Lantus and Humalog pens nicely. You can even throw in a few needles at the same time. The inside is a bright silver material consistent with what you would find in a lunchbox. The gel packs will freeze solid, but I haven't tested longevity. The temperature feature is irrelevant to me.

Good cooler, can't read the temp gauge though.
I like the cooler and I use it when I travel. I cannot figure out the temp gauge though. I know it reads Celcius and not Fahrenheit but what do the numbers mean in regard to the temperature of my medicine? There seems to be a language barrier when I tried to get my question answered. They asked for a picture but I didn't send one because I just don't see how that would explain my question. Anyway, it's a good cooler, lasted over 6 hours for me driving through the desert.
