Ok. Let’s start with the pros. The shampoo cleaned my hair well. It left my hair feeling clean but not stripped. I used the conditioner as well. My hair was left feeling soft with plenty of body after blow drying. This could have been a great shampoo except for one thing. Now we come to the con: the absolutely horrible scent. The top note after drying is an artificial grape scent: think grape kool-aid on steroids. But the deal breaker for me is the underlying smell of rotting fish. This is most pronounced when washing the hair but I can still smell it slightly even when my my hair is dry. I admit I poured the shampoo and conditioner down the drain after using it once and I will not be buying this again. However, I am extremely sensitive to smells and am bothered by scents that other people don’t even notice. I can’t recommend this shampoo but I can’t condemn it either. If you are not bothered by smells, it could be a good shampoo.
