Easy and simple
This is simple and to the point. Plug it in, put in up to two 1kg rolls, touch power, touch m until it says work. The base settings are perfect. 6 hrs 50c. Leave the weep holes unplugged! The front read out will give you the humidity. Looking for 30 or less on average, according to ai. I figure if it's dropped into the 30's that's solid and has worked well for me. It makes a difference. I've seen filaments start in the 50% range, which is awful, down to mid 30's and suddenly it prints well. Doesn't solve all my printer problems, but it helps.

Buy this one over any other
Very nice dryer, I would like to say that I wish it had a 4 hour option, lowest is 6 hour, but I guess higher is better than lower. I only use it at 50c and its been working great, comes with plugs to keep moisture in. Looks super nice on my desk, doesnt take up much space, Durability is probably a 9/10, lid feels a bit flimsy but its not like its gonna take a hit any time soon. I printed tpu while drying it and the bearings helped gret with the extrusion, no issues for me. overall great product for 3d printing.

Not happy so far. Temp very inaccurate and power-supply too hot to touch.
1. Temp: Set at 40C. Temp reads 50C+. Lack of preciseness isn't confidence inspiring. Wrong temps aren't good for certain filament types. *Update: this appears to only happen on initial startup. Temp settles down after awhile to correct setting. 2. The power supply gets too hot to even touch. This indicates it isn't designed properly, and will fail in the medium-term, (as others have reported). It's always possible I got a bad unit.

Absolute Must-Have for Better 3D Prints
This filament dryer made a noticeable difference in my print quality. Itโs easy to use, heats up quickly, and keeps filament dry while printing, which helped reduce stringing and print issues. Simple setup, quiet operation, and works great for everyday printing. Definitely worth it if you want more consistent prints. Color quality, material quality, itโs all perfect with this.

Must have for advanced filaments.
I will say to start off with this is not necessary if you want to print with PLA. If you want to print with more advanced filaments this device is a game changer in the humid south.. I love this device it delivers great drying capability and as allowed me to print with ASA and TPU that I did not have the ability to do regularly with the humidity in the south. The machine is easy to use plug in put filament in and it will do rest. Very happy and would highly recommend!!

I have 6 of these for two printers and I'm worried half are failing...
These units were definitely a bargain and simple to set up and use. And they also do a good job of keeping filament dry while I print. I use them to feed filament into a multi-color print system and they work great for that. However, I bought one dryer in February of 2023 and the rest in August/September of 2023 and at least three of them are now VERY loud on startup. I have read that can be a sign they are failing. I don't see any options for tech support or to contact the manufacturer, so I don't know how to raise this concern. This would be five stars if it weren't for the concerns that two are failing after about a year.

Highly recommend for printing tpu/petg.
Works great. Use it for all my TPU and PETG printing. Dries filament quick, and improved my print quality (and even finally allowed me to print with some filaments I had issues with). Have had no issues with tangles, clogs or brittle filament since using this. Will work with all 3d printers, especially with the little holes to feed filament outside of the unit.

Not bad...prints fine from dryer itself, it's good enough for now. Plenty of mod options.
I just started 3d printing and got the cheapest I could find. First off this has a major design flaw the bottom of the dryer gets very hot because there is no air flow at the bottom of the case! This will get your table quite warm and possibly damage it over time if its plastic or laminated! I had some stick on some rubber feet to elevate the unit and that fixed the problem instantly! I later bought some silicone speaker isolation feet (heat resistant and way taller) to replace them for more airflow and the bottom only gets warm now, I just stuck them over the original 3/4 sized anti skid pads. This is a very bare bones unit but nice, the model I received has 4 filament holes 2 on top in addition to the 2 front like as pictured and apparently I have the new firmware which now has 50C as the starting temp and 48hr max timer, yay! Got to be frank this does not look like its gonna last long its cheap looking but it does what its supposed to! You can not rely on opening all the filament ports to let moisture escape you have to crack the lid with the locking clamps as a prop to dehydrate otherwise it takes forever. There are a bunch of printable mods to improve this unit which look fun to try. So far I am printing with one spool in the dryer and a spare just sitting there drying out with whatever silica packs I can fit in the centers of the spools to recharge them...rollers work fine and the silicone filament hole grommets don't impede the flow too much but I'm going to replace them soon, like I said there are so many videos on this unit to mod it! One star taken for the horrible heat problem on the base where you HAVE to buy feet, otherwise nice unit to fiddle and play around with.
