The mat is beautiful when it comes; however if ur front door can get wet by the rain . This Mat is not for u. Unfortunately you will have to leave it in the sun for atleast a full day after it rain if it’s really sunny. If it’s not that sunny 2 days. I live in Florida and this is what I have to do so that it doesn’t stain my front door due to the mat keeping water inside. I’m getting another one unfortunately

This is a gift item so I cannot comment on durability, etc. HOWEVER I can say we are very pleased that it looks just like described and we will be proud to gift it. I also like the idea of helping small businesses. We are retired but were once a small business and recommendations are important and useful.
