4 years, still great!
I have had this for 4 years now so I thought I would write a review. It is still an amazing grill. I have been very pleased with it and I would not hesitate to buy this brand again. In fact, I just ordered the sink/fridge module to complete my kitchen. I love that it is modular and can be expanded like that. It has a 15 year warranty. The newer modular cover is genius and easy to get on and off. The exterior is in perfect condition. The burners and grates are still good. It looks like the flame tamers will need replacing eventually but they are still good. Side searing burner finishes sous vide steaks perfectly. Tons of storage. The drawers hold a lot and the slides are still like new. The adjustable legs keep it level. The only nitpick I have is the interior bulbs. They are way too difficult to change. Maybe this has been remedied in newer models, but because the bulb housing screw has a nut on the back instead of something welded in place, you have to remove the hood and a panel off of the back to get to the nut. And the bulb prongs have tiny screws holding them in place. Not a deal breaker by any means, and only needed once every 4 years so far. But the lights are really bright and the blue/red lights on the knobs Is a great feature. The included rotisserie is fantastic. I added the charcoal pan accessory to make it more versatile and will be getting the griddle soon. This was definitely worth the investment. It has the wow factor of a custom grill, can deliver perfectly cooked food, and looks like it will last a long time. I highly recommend this for your backyard.

Outstanding Product!
After weeks of researching BBQ Island and Grills I presented the Mont Alpi Island to my husband to review. We live within a few blocks of the ocean and my husband is in the Marine Industry, so the Stainless Steel is a critical factor. The 805 stainless will hold up nicely to the elements, He was pleasantly surprised as to the weight of the grill itself. The grates are high quality and heavy. I personally love the spacious storage compartments and the counter tops, which appear to be similar to a Corian product. Assembly was relatively simple. Getting the pieces to our 2nd level Lanai/deck was a bit challenging but after removing all interior parts, drawers and grill cover, the center piece was much easier to get up a flight of 16 stairs. The grill heats quickly and evenly and offers precise low to high settings. The lighting elements inside the grill are wonderful! Honestly, we weren't sure about that feature but have grown to really appreciate it! All in all we are absolutely thrilled with this purchase. PRICE... Was very fair in comparison to many other Grilling Islands I researched, especially with FREE SHIPPING. This Grill will be a much enjoyed addition to our outdoor living area

Started off well, went downhill quickly
Long term update: I've had this piece of junk 6 years now and still regret buying it every time I use it. After the problems below, the door hinge pins started failing. Strong breeze, pins bend, doors fall off. The pins fit into holes in very thin sheet metal that also bends easily. There is no reinforcement, no bearing sleeve for the pins to fit into. I ended up machining new hinges, done as they should have been. The side infrared burner has as poor heat distribution as the main grill, and takes forever to ignite. I usually have to use a blowtorch on it. The drawers are too wide for the drawer slides to properly support, so have to be pulled carefully straight out or they stick. Hmm, is there a single thing I like about this grill? No, not a one. Lesson learned yet again, never buy the cheapest in a class of products. Original review: I was impressed at first, but that didn't last long. The sheet metal is thin, easy to bend. Only 2 locking wheels over the entire length, a brisk breeze will blow it across the patio. Worse, as others have noted, the heating pattern is very uneven. You get a choice of burnt or raw depending on where you place food on it. Worst, the customer service is nonexistent. After 10 months, all the drawer slides had fallen apart, plastic bits fell off, bearings fell out, and all rusted. So much for 'stainless steel'. After 5 attempts to contact them starting last year, 5 months from the first attempt, finally got a response, "sorry, shipping new ones". A month later, nothing. Contact again, "sorry, shipping new ones". 3 weeks later, nothing. Just stay away from this mess of a company. Oh, and as others have also noted, the lenses over the lights also cracked and fell out. For the price, a real purchase mistake.

Great grill super value
The Mont Alpi grill is a super value at this price point. I did my research and really looked up specs and on paper this grill mirrors grills at double the price. Best of all you can call the company and get expert advice. It came well packaged, undamaged and easy to assemble for a handy guy. Instructions were easy to read and follow. It cooks well, but as with all grills this size it takes a little longer to get to temp. Cooking standard grill foods have been easy to maintain food temp and larger cooks are welcome with all the space.

Great service
This is a huge grill and we love it we had a few problems with shipping in the beginning and had received a piece that was damaged but after we found out that it was under warranty the manufacture was able to send us the replacement piece and now it’s all like new we recommend this grill to anyone looking for a nice modern grill

Attractive and love the storage
Purchased for our condo assoc of 10 units. Just got it installed, used it less than 6 times. But so far we are very pleased. Hooked up to existing gas line, a little bit of effort to convert, hired help. Very attractive, hope it lasts for years to come.

Worth the Wait!
We waited over three months for the BBQ Island Grill to come in. I must admit to our impatience. Yet, when we considered the global pandemic and the fact that the grill is manufactured overseas, we settled in for the wait. And, it was very much worth the wait! What makes our beautiful BBQ island look more like an outdoor kitchen is the faux granite countertop, generous storage space, and the quality craftsmanship. Plus, the customer service at BBQ Island, Inc was extremely kind and patient. And, their delivery/set up crew proved thoughtful as well as professional. Altogether, the experience was not only worth the wait--but for us--also increased the value of our purchase. P.S. This particular model (Mont Alpi MAI805) did not come with the Rotisserie kit or cover; but we were able to purchase both of these items separately from two difference companies. The BBQ Island Inc, delivery/setup crew kindly installed the rotisserie kit for us, anyway. And, the custom-like cover fits like a glove!
