Jsut so you're aware gamefound has the next installment out to back, Kings of ruin. In doing so you can get just about everything they made in the series for 299 as opposed to spending an absurd amount of money on 1 base game. Hope this helps

What material is the models made of?

I believe a black plastic with little flex. In my case (I think this may be different per version) it was harder to tell and could be resin as there was a coating to add some texture and color. This coating didn't seem quite like paint but a separate thicker layer likely sprayed on.
