Perfect Solution for Hard Dock Water
Bought this due to very hard water at the dock pedestal. Doesn’t require electricity and produces water at 8-11ppm on my TDS meter - water taste is excellent. Much cheaper and better and quiet alternative to the “yacht” solutions (FCI DTS+Mobile) out there at 6 times the price and noise level. We keep our fresh water tanks filled with this absolutely perfect water.

Excellent. Water dropped to 2 ppm TDS form 168 ppm inlet. Now includes garden spigot adapter.
.Easy to set up. Now includes adapter for your outdoor spigot. Reduced my TDS from 168 ppm to 2 ppm at 35 psi on the gauge. Flow is very good (although I am not hitting the 100 gpd due to my lower pressure). This unit weight about 15 pounds and is very robust. Works very well with excellent results. Worth the extra money.

Be Cautious
Purchased two of these units about a month a part. First one showed up, was installed as the manual specified and stopped working after one day. Filters were not good. Spent $600 at the local shop, replaced filters and it has worked perfectly ever since. Ordered the second one thinking I got a bad unit the first time and rolled the dice again. Second unit arrived and what do you know, filters failed after one day. Another $600 in filters and it’s running again. Hydrologic does not warranty the filters. They are defective from the supplier. My local hydro shop is making money too. Just a shame. The price of these units, they should be quality checked prior to shipping out. Water pressure is perfect, installation to spec and our water source isn’t overly contaminated. Once you change the filters and eat the $600 replacements, they work amazing. I get 800 gallons a day but in this sense, you have to pay more to get it to factory standards. Buyers beware.

Flow a bit deceiving
Easy to install. Replaces an old Merlin 750. But flow is considerably less. But has no apparent internal leakages like the old one.

Great Even For Small Gardens
Nice filter (1 carbon filter + two RO units in parallel) that gives me 5 gallons of water in just a few minutes. Nice volume flow and works in a home environment on 60 psi city water. I get frustrated with smaller RO units and their low volume output. The Hydro-Logic performs outstandingly and allows me to water the garden in 1/3 the time. The unit is expensive but time is money. Replacement filters cost a lot but I will probably never wear out the originals so am very pleased after initial sticker shock.

Working well so far. This unit is a good replacement for the GE Merlin as it uses the same type filters and the same hose fittings which basically make it plug and play using your old Merlin hoses. I left in the post filter from my Merlin set up to provide some extra filtering.

Awesome RO system
My well water is hard at 950 or so ppm and after going thru 9 other filters it's comes to my storage tank at 420 ppm the family only used it to shower and wash dishes flush the toilets. There was stains in the toilets and my wife complained that her hair was falling out in globs, so I had to spend the money. after adding the evolution 1000 upgraded to (1200 GPD now) it's down to 28 ppm. Awesome! I can finally drink it if I want.

I plumbed this system into an RV Motorcoach. Works great! The water pressure is a little low in some RV parks but I can still use it direct flow even with low pressure, or I can add more water pressure using my RV holding tank and water pump system. I even added the pre-filter unit to help with the ammonia in the drinking water in California, Florida and other places. I don't worry about the different locations with varying water quality anymore. Great product!

this unit is very easy to install. and arrived promptly . My well water is very hard (1950 ppm) and the produced RO water is perfect (40-80 ppm). We use 200-400 gallons of water every day and this unit keeps up very well until the filters start to plug. In our case about 5-6 months. I had some trouble finding replacement filters and wish amazon would link replacements. I wrote the above review abou a unit i put in a rental house I own . After one year of constant use the RO system is working fantastic. (filter life @ 8 months) So last month I installed one in my own farm house. Thirty years of hauling salt for softeners is over. My dishes sparkle out of the dishwasher ...the hard water stains that I always needed to scrub out of my toilets, sinks and showers are gone!!! I recommend this to anyone that wants a trouble free system.

Great product Update December 2023; We have been running this continuous since 2015 and couldn't be happier. Back in 2015, we were looking for a means to supply RO water throughout the house. I looked and had quotes of many systems from independent units at each location to commercial racks designed for the home. I was not however overly enthusiastic about systems costing over $10,000.00 and requiring professional services annually. More out of desperation than seeking this product and at the time of purchase it was under $1,000.00 for the unit, pump, tank, accessories and a set of replacement filters, I thought of this as a cheap experiment. I have not yet had to replace the filters and today I checked and verified that it still is putting out water at 13 ppm and with remineralization, I'm able to maintain my levels within the 120-160 ppm. We use the system for the ice maker, 2 Keurig 2500 coffee makers with continuous water supply (Replacing the old 1500 models), 2 taps in the Kitchen, one bar tap in the bonus room, 3 bathrooms for drinking water and rinsing after brushing as well as the steam humidifier tied to the forced air system. Daily consumption would average around 18-25 gallons a day depending on season. For an initial experiment, i think we did just fine.

Don’t waste your time or money buying this it’s complete and utter garbage it does not work right out of the box the pressure gauge has never worked i’m lucky if I produce 3 gallons an hour what a joke

I had very hard water that left every piece of glassware etched.. Couldn't wash out car at home either as it would leave white etching stains all over the paint and windshield. These were nearly impossible to remove even with CLR. I finally had enough, bought a storage tank and tried this unit out. UNDERSTAND that you MUST feed it soft water if you have hard water because hard water kills the membranes. So we feed this soft water. 2.5 yrs later and I am still running the original membranes. I track ppm monthly, originally 660ppm which went down to 11ppm and varies now between 17ppm-27ppm depending on the season (high water level at river seems to affect it) but it's absolutely excellent. Wondering how long the membranes will last. We are on well water and use approximately 150-200 gallons/day and run a simple large pre filter (pre water softener) so ensure there is no sediment entering our unit. Can't be happier with the overall result.

Okay unit. On a well with a 30/50 pressure switch without the added pressure pump, you will not get 1000G per day. More like 250, which is still fairly decent. Also the waste output is more like 2.5:1 rather than 2:1. Also - the unit would be far better if some sort of rig was put in place to hold the lines as they come out of the elbows. I used duct tape to secure the three lines and elbows to the unit so they would be straight. Otherwise it leaked everywhere. A design flaw for sure that could be fixed with a 2$ piece of plastic.
