Metal Coins Set

Great looking coins - they look and feel like real modern coins, maybe even better than coins. They feel heavy and I like the fact that they have denominations on them. They look and feel well made and seem like they will last a long time. They could even probably be used as poker tokens. Overall, I think this is a quality set of fantasy coins for the price. The bag they come in is nice, but the "eye" seems a little cheesy. When they are all in the bag it definitely feels like a heavy bag of coins. The smaller coins are even on the large side, about like US 25-cent piece.

Here's what you get: 5 Total "gold" pieces worth "50". 10 Total "silver" pieces worth "10" 15 Total "copper" pieces worth "5" 30 Total "nickel" pieces worth "1" These are nice, solid coins with some actual weight behind them. Not some cheap aluminum stamped coins. Some real effort went into crafting these. What to use them for? I'm using them for inspiration tokens in D&D. Here's what I would suggest: Nickel 1 pieces. Some really cool thing that a player character did that made everyone laugh. Copper 5 piece. Something quite clever that really made a difference for the character or group. Silver 10 piece. Something quite genius that probably saved everyone from a nasty situation. Gold 50 piece. Something absolutely epic in the game. They saved everyone from certain death. Collect them all back at some point in the game and give them something "extra" like a magic item or extra thanks from people they helped or something. As a DM, be creative with these. It will add a whole new level of fun to the game and make players that did cool things feel extra special. The bag is great! There's a creepy glass eye in the middle of the "skin" bag. The draw string has a sliding bead on it that locks the string tight with the release of a button.

I don’t know what I was expecting, I knew it would be good, but I was genuinely blown away at how great the quality is. The bag looks and feels amazing. Just awesome work on the detail for the bag and eye. The coins, OMG the coins! The design is cool and minted perfect, but the thing that just was insane was the weight of the coins. This feels like a punch full of coins. When you pour them out into your hands the metal has real weight to it. These could easily be used at Renfaire for an actual money system its that high quality. I mean the jingle they make in the bag. I plan on getting other types and shapes of coins along with gems for a treasure chest to put on my D&D book case and I will definitely be getting more of the coins to add to that collection. Throw your money at these, they are definitely worth it.

What I received as a set: 5x $50 10x $10 15x $5 30x $1 All are 1.9mm thick $50 = 30.8mm diameter and 7.6g $10 = 25.9mm diameter and 5.3g $5 = 22mm diameter and 4.3g $1 = 23.5mm diameter and 4.7g As you can see, the $1 is a little bigger and heavier than the $5, although they are very different in color. I do wish the $1s were a little more tarnished looking to help distinguish it from the $10s. They do all have the same back (dragon with some runes) Overall I'm happy with this set for my board games.

The coins are solid and sound nice, feel great and have a good weight. The various colors and sizes add some dynamic to a loot bag and will work great for my costume as well as when playing board games that use tokens

Love the weight and the clink they make when dropped. The 5’s and the 1’s were *very* similar and we kept mixing the up. Put the 5’s through a quick silver cleaning bath and that made them sufficiently differ in tone on our black table.

These were perfect for our renaissance fair costumes and passing out as a token
