Exceptional Quality and Service, My 4-Month Review of the iSpring RCC1UP-AK-BLK
Exceptional Quality and Service: A 4-Month Review of the iSpring RCC1UP-AK-BLK After four months of use, I am incredibly satisfied with my investment in the iSpring RCC1UP-AK-BLK 7-Stage Reverse Osmosis System. I chose this model to ensure safer, better-tasting water for my home while eliminating microplastics from bottled water. Value & Investment This system is a great money-saver. Based on my calculations, the unit will pay for itself in less than 11 months, meaning I only have eight months left until it has completely cleared its own cost. Customer Service & Delivery Before purchasing, I contacted iSpring directly with several questions. A representative named Francis was truly kind and helpful, guiding me toward the right unit for my needs. I ordered via Amazon on December 31st, and it arrived in perfect condition by January 3rd. The packaging was excellent, with every component individually protected. Installation & Build Quality The materials are high quality, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Straight forward installation with diagrams, mayor components ensembled. Because I am currently renting, I installed the system in the laundry room rather than under the kitchen sink. Following the recommended steps led to a perfect installation with zero leaks or issues. Pro-Tip: Monitoring Performance I chose to add pressure gauges to monitor three critical points: incoming street pressure, post-prefilter pressure, and the pump pressure entering the membrane. Here is what I have learned for those looking to optimize their system: • Optimal Pressure: The system performs best between 40–80 PSI (60 PSI is ideal). • Prefilter Health: A 2–3 PSI drop between the incoming water and the post-prefilter gauge is normal. A larger drop indicates it is time to change the filters. • Recommended Changes to Time Schedule Changes: o Keep this in mind the time between changes will be directly affected by conditions of the fed water. Your city or raw water will have water hardness that will impact the prefilter life span. If you do not pay attention will also affect the RO Membrane o Note: Water Hardness; concentration of Calcium and Magnesium. Must be a major concern if your water came from a well, instead of the city water. Will need specialized test or Professional Private lab test to determine results. o TDS or Total Dissolved Solids; All dissolved Organic and Inorganic Substances. This is an easier way to evaluate (and safer if is city water) and know your TDS Number, e.g., salts, metals, minerals, including Calcium and Magnesium dissolved in your water. • Note: Always consult, there is a possibility that any modification(s), alteration(s) may void seller warranty. • Scientific Monitoring (Rejection Rate): You can use a TDS meter to calculate the Rejection Rate: o Formula: [(Feed TDS – Permeate TDS) / Feed TDS] x 100 o You will need to buy a TDS Meter, to measure PPM (parts per million) Notes: If you are interested in a System with Remineralization (to add back essentials minerals, calcium, magnesium sodium, and potassium, to enhance water quality and taste) I strongly suggest getting a Meter that also reads Ph; helps you visualize the water alkalinity level (the higher more alkaline). If the meter can read Conductivity, it can give you a notion of the Water Hardness and TDS (the lower the, lower the amount of WH and TDS). Values of TDS on a RO System with Alkalinization stage are always higher than a None Alkalinization stage one. o A rate of 95–99% is excellent. o If it drops below 95%, it is time for re-order, 94-90% replace. o 90-below, you should not wait for this values. You may want to run on the safe side; remember you want to extend RO Membrane life. Final Verdict: Pros: I highly recommend iSpring Water Systems LLC. Their support is top-notch, and the product quality is evident. I choose the one with pump because it makes it more efficient in terms of less wastewater (known as; rejected, concentrated or brine), and faster & great-taste water than the one without pump. Need to add that the UV filtration is a plus for killing living things (not our actual case, but later; we may have one with water well) adding more safe water. I never measure the exact time to produce a full RO tank (from empty to full), but as an approximation is less than one hour Straight forward installation with diagrams, mayor components ensembled. Everything came extremely well packaged in a single big box. The first of the three prefilters is transparent, giving you a chance to see the condition. The mechanism to stop the water input (to the system) it is great idea to helps prevent water damage in case of an accident. Cons: Be aware that on this configuration you will be required to have an electric receptacle to power the Pump and the UV Ultra-Violet Sterilizer. In a power failure you cannot produce water without modification. Closing Statement If you are not sure which model fits your home, their support team is easy to reach by phone or email. Great product and great service—special thanks to Francis for the help!

So far a great system!
I have had this system in use for about a month and a half and thought I would give my thoughts. It is a first RO system for us so I do not have anything else to compare to. With that, I will say that the installation went well for my particular under-sink space and existing setup and left me with a sufficient amount of storage for the normal cleaners and chemicals people tend to store under a kitchen sink. It had all of the adapters that I needed for my under-sink situation, so no fussing around with having to purchase anything else. The whole setup and install was easy enough for me, but I have always been a DIYer, so others may have a different experience. I am very impressed with the capacity and pressure of the filtered water that comes out of the RO faucet from the included storage/pressure tank. I think it holds about 2-3 gallons of water that is available for immediate use. I come from using a PUR water filter that attaches to the faucet, so what I have now is night and day better as to how quickly the purified water comes out. I did a tank emptying test to see how much water I could get if I shut the system down so it did not replenish, and here are my observations: 1. The system was able to supply water at a rate of about 1 cup (8 oz) about every 5 seconds and maintain that rate pretty consistently with minimal drop-off for a solid 4-5 minutes. 2. From that point till about the 8 minute mark the system was still supplying water, but the rate was progressively getting slower, although still quite useable until near the 7-8 minute mark. By then the stream had tapered off till it was not very usable to fill a glass reasonably quickly. The tank was likely empty, or close to it, and I think whatever I was getting at that point was mostly recovery and new filtered water direct from the RO filter. 3. To fully refill the tank I believe it took about 45 minutes +/-. The manual says to expect 1-2 hours, but that has not been my experience at all, after several drain and fills so I was pleasantly surprised. However, not all was sunshine and roses, but even then only relatively minor issues once I figured something out and got another issue corrected. On first system start-up and use (after the required flushes), I was expecting to see air bubbles in the water and maybe have some taste quality issues until sufficient flushing of all the filters had occurred. 1st, the water was initially very saturated with air, which did mostly dissipate in the glass after a short time, although there is no issue with drinking it immediately as it's just air. 2nd, in my opinion the water tasted awful! I was expecting crisp, clean, high quality tasting water, but the best I can describe it is that it tasted like a weak oatmeal flavor or maybe some kind of earthy. That was definitely surprising because iSpring marketing paints a different experience out of the gate. However, I was within my first week and figured that the taste was still fresh cartridge dust or whatever that hadn't fully flushed out. This system does have a couple of carbon cartridges to clean up taste, but it also has a re-mineralization filter AFTER the RO filter and right BEFORE the UV filter, so that re-mineralized water goes directly out to the faucet and into your cup. As time went on the air bubbles did get much better (there are always some as a byproduct of the RO process), but the odd taste did not. 3rd, I noticed from the very beginning that the faucet had a consistent drip about every 3-5 minutes or so, and figured it would diminish and stop after a short time if caused by any valve seals that may have not seated properly, but it did not stop even after a few weeks. I thought that the ceramic seal for the valve must have had a problem and decided to call support to ask about all 3 of these observations. I am happy to report that my experience with support was great! The support rep I spoke to was "Robert", and I really appreciated his time and willingness to talk through the issues and hear what he had to say. * He confirmed that the excessive air bubbles should greatly decrease soon enough - they did. * He understood that the dripping was not normal and immediately issued me a replacement faucet, which I have been using now for a little more than a week. That seems to have solved the dripping, for the most part, as now I might get a initial 1 or 2 drips (likely thermal expansion of the water held in the faucet neck by surface tension) and then nothing after that till the next use. I am happy with that. * As to the taste, he admitted that it was surely from the re-mineralization cartridge and would probably not go away sufficiently to my liking. The solution, should I choose, would be to remove that cartridge from the mix by rerouting one of the connecting tubes - effectively removing the cartridge yet leaving it in place (if I wanted). While I do understand that that CAN BE a solution, it's not the best one. But, perhaps for someone who doesn't care if the water tastes a flatter it could be an acceptable one (SEE SOLUTION BELOW). But I paid for a 7-stage system! Removing a cartridge from a system that aims to reintroduce minerals that are stripped out by the RO filter back into the water to improve taste is apparently tricky business, and my experience highlights this potential problem. I don't know what other brand systems do to mitigate this issue when they also have re-mineralization, but maybe it is a problem in this industry as a whole. Robert's answer was probably the best he had, but short of someone actually NOT wanting the minerals re-introduced, I have a better solution that does not involve removing a stage. I figured out that if I simply turn the RO faucet on for 3-5 seconds PRIOR to filling my cup (or other container), that that totally resolves the taste issue and reflects the perfectly great tasting water that RO systems are supposed to be known for. I imagine this works because any water that sits in the re-mineralization filter for very long before water is needed just gets saturated with the minerals - those first few ounces of heavy mineral water going right into the cup. A little pre-flush is all that is needed and it works! So, my advice regarding any odd tastes that others who have these systems might experience is to try my instant "fix". And as for iSpring, I suggest they add this suggestion to their FAQs on the website (I could have missed it if already there, but saw nothing in this regard) and to the system manual itself in the section that goes through potential problems and solutions. All-in-all, I am very happy with this RO system and feel comfortable recommending it.

Filtered, good tasting and well thought out out system
Waited for a long while to submit a review for this product just to see how it was working. We are very satisfied with the iSpring 7-stage reverse osmosis water filtration system with pump and tank. I wasn’t sure my water pressure would push the water out consistently so I looked for a system with a pump and tank. Also, our water tests pretty good (for local standards) but the buildup on faucet nozzles, toilet bowls, stainless sinks, etc was (and still is) a major problem staining the sinks and bowls and clogging up the faucets over time so we figured a good source of drinking and cooking water was needed. This system, although bulky even for a double wide sink cabinet (it takes up about 1/3 the space with the tank taking up the majority of the space) proved to be a good way to get great tasting water without the minerals and chemicals I saw when testing water out of the tap. The installation was fairly easy if you can call working under a sink in the cabinet easy (if you’ve done it, you know!). The push connections are great and do not leak as long as you install them per directions. And most of the connections are already made between the filters. There was a through manual included as well as some extra parts and clips. I was hoping it would plumb into the existing faucet to use there but that wasn’t the case, however we grew to like the separate soda fountain style faucet and it doesn’t take up too much space on the sink top tucked into one of the corners. We did have the reverse osmosis unit fail somewhere in the first two years of ownership. Emailing the company and proving date of sale was pretty much all that was needed and they shipped out new parts. Nick in service was very helpful. In taking it apart I got confused as to the route of the water through the various filters and the manual (which is pretty extensive!) wasn’t actually much help as was the web. I couldn’t find a simple flow chart showing the ins and out to ins through the system. Took some time to riddle it out referring to several pictures of the system. Should have taken photos as I went! The system seems to work as described. I change the filters around every 6 months but forgot the first two years but this didn’t slow the water output. I’m sure the filters were way past their useful life on that first change. This is when I noticed the electronic unit wasn’t working any more and contacted the company. Replacing the filters is, again, as easy as working under a sink in the cabinet can be. Kinda a pain but the actual unscrewing and screwing in the canisters wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. It is messy since there’s residual water in there so get a pan and several towels ready. Don’t think we’ve hit the break even point between this systems cost and the cost of buying water but consider this… do you really know if the water you buy is purified to the level you want or expect? With the iSpring system, we know.

... want to start by saying kudos to iSpring for excellent documentation. This product could be considered somewhat difficult ...
I want to start by saying kudos to iSpring for excellent documentation. This product could be considered somewhat difficult to install if it wasn’t for the detailed step by step directions. I also recommend the youtube video. Why did we purchase this product? Fish were dying. LOL. Yes that correct our aquarium fish were dying and we wanted to know why. In the process of troubleshooting the aquarium issue, we found out the KH Hardness (Carbonate hardness) of our well water was off the chart. Over 214 ppm. My wife researched the effects of consuming water with high Carbonate hardness levels. You don’t want to know. Or perhaps you do. OK so the fish were acting like the canary in the coal mine. So yes we purchased a $350 filter so we can get clean water for our fish. Just kidding. It was obvious after my wife’s research that we needed to do something for our health. In fact we we're concerned that we consumed this water for years without this filter. Why we chose to purchase the pump option In my research, I learned that the model that included a pump (for use with low water pressure areas) would create less wastewater during the filter process. This was a concern because we have a septic system so we went for the extra $40. It turns out that with or without the pump the amount of wastewater produced is equal to about 1 – 2 toilette flushes but with the pump, it’s less. How much less? Good question. Sorry, I don’t know the answer. The Install Because we purchased the model with the pump and UV light I needed to run electric into the cabinet (next to the sink). This was 50% of my install time. It was n’t too bad. I have an understanding of electric but if you don’t you will need to hire an electrician. Read the install manual and watch the youtube video. When you open the box it is somewhat intimidating. Lots of hoses. Thanks to iSpring they are all a different color. The install is indeed quite easy as long as you follow the steps. Because we still use the cabinet for pots and pans, I did decide to build a removable wood box around the filter to protect. My fear was a hose would get pulled out while grabbing a pan. To be honest I’m worrying for no good reason. The quick connect feature of the hoses are rock solid. The water WOW. OK now we can reap the reward. The water does indeed taste better. What should water taste like? Well not like it has been for all the years without a filter. We also noticed a difference with the coffee. We purchased a connect kit for the refrigerator ($20 from iSpring) so the same filtered water is used for ice. (We didn’t know that ice could be so clear) Not to mention we will now save $$$ because we no longer need the GE refrigerator water filter. Pros I think I mentioned most of the pros above. After the cost of the filter, I can expect to pay less than $100 per a year for maintenance. I list this as a pro because it seems reasonable. Several filters are included in a 12-month kit. Install was on the easy side. Quality materials used for the product. Can fill the 3.2-gallon tank in just about 40 minutes. Cons A lot of hoses. OK OK they are all needed but still a lot of hoses. One con is with RO filters in general. You can run out of the filtered water. As mentioned above, the 3.2-gallon tank can be filled in about 40 minutes but the fact that you can run out is a con. Perhaps a 5-gallon tank would be better. I guess I could upgrade the tank if this is a big issue. Bottom line is I would recommend this product. It’s well worth the money and now my fish are happy. Oh I should mention that the Carbonate hardness level of the filtered water is zero. I thought the test kit was broken. I expected the level to be lower but not zero.

Beyond Expectations!
This review is for the following: iSpring RCC1UP-AK 100 GPD 7-Stage Reverse Osmosis Under Sink Water Filtration System with Boost Pump, Alkaline Remineralization, UV Filter, and Top-Mounted Faucet; purchased 8 Jul 25, installed 17 Jul 25. iSpring WGB32B-KDS 3-Stage Whole House Water Filter with a 1st Stage Anti-Scale Water Filter, 2nd Stage GAC+KDF Heavy Metal Reducing Filter, and a 3rd stage Carbon Block Filter; purchased 20 Jul 25, installed 27 Jul 25. iSpring WSPSL-ARJ-BP Spin Down Sediment Water Filter with Siliphos and Touch-Screen Auto Flushing; purchased 20 Jul 25, installed 27 Jul 25. I wanted to install a drinking water filtration system for several years but never had the time to do it. Now that I’m retired, I decided it was time to finally get it done. Our city water source in Alaska meets “approved” levels for water quality, but always has a sulfur smell, and scaling is also a problem. To add to our concerns, we often get sediment when we have earthquakes near our area. I spent a great deal of time reviewing various filtration systems on the internet and Amazon to find the best fit for my needs. Though there are many good systems out there, I chose iSpring because they offered the best options and had the best reviews for filtration systems and customer support. I first purchased and installed the RCC1UP-AK 7-Stage RO/UV drinking water filtration system thinking that was all I wanted. I mounted it in my basement crawl space underneath the refrigerator because of the ease of running wiring for an electrical GFCI receptacle from my garage circuit breaker panel to power the booster pump and UV filter, and because of the way my PEX piping is routed. I’m very qualified to perform this type of work but wouldn’t recommend someone doing the same if not knowledgeable and qualified, that includes splicing in valves and connectors for PEX tubing and installing the filtration system, not to mention any electrical work. It took me two days to get everything installed from running a feed line for the drinking water sink faucet, creating a filter bypass line, splicing into the refrigerator ice maker/drinking water line, running an electrical circuit, and mounting and activating the new RO/UV filtration system. To say my wife and I are pleased with the quality of the drinking water we are getting from our new filtration system would be an understatement. Whether we get the drinking water chilled from the refrigerator faucet or from the new sink faucet, the RO/UV filtered water tastes outstandingly fresh and pure. And the bonus of having the sink drinking faucet is we can now wash our fruits and vegetables in purified water! Should anyone want to know, the TDS readings for our unfiltered water supply runs around 250ppm, but coming from the RO/UV filter, it drops to 12ppm. Because of how well the RO/UV filtration system works, and because we still have the problem of the sulfur smell, scaling, and earthquake caused sediment coming out of the rest of the house faucets, I decided to purchase and install a Whole House Filtration System. Again, I went with iSpring for the same reasons I installed the RO/UV Filtration System. However, I decided to go with their ultimate filters for the 3 stage Filtration System and the Spin-Down Sediment Filter. Again, I installed the system in the crawl space, but next to the water supply entrance and extended the electrical circuit for a second GFCI receptacle to power the Sediment Filter Auto Flush. This time, it took me 4 days to complete the job because I took advantage of the incoming water shutoff to splice in SharkBite Max cold/hot water valves to every feeder line in the house for individual isolation. What a difference having a Whole House Filtration System has made to the quality of our water. It has been just over a week since it went on-line, and the results have been absolutely incredible. We no longer have the sulfur smell, and scaling is completely gone. We haven’t had any local earthquakes yet, but I’m certain we won’t have a sediment problem either. I can also comment on iSpring’s customer service. I took advantage of their free 3-year warranty extension by registering the products on their website. I’m not going to say it was easy to input the information on their support page because it doesn’t seem to function very well. It took me at least 3 tries for each of the Filtration Systems because the website kept giving errors and locking up, but perseverance prevailed, and I was finally able to register all three systems. It didn’t take but a day to hear back from Sean and Nick respectively to let me know that my 3-year warranties have been activated. Though I didn’t speak to them directly, I’m certain I would be very happy talking with them to help me with any issues I might have. Other reviews mention how helpful customer service personnel are or have been and I can believe it. Bottom line, I highly recommend iSpring Filtration Systems for your drinking and/or whole house filter needs. You won’t be sorry! And check out the attached photos to get an idea of my installation.

Pure water, finally!
I searched the internet for a complete drinking water filter solution as the utility water where I live is not reliable for drinking. I decided for the iSpring 7-stage one (filters, Reverse Osmosis, booster pump and UV unit) a good combination of functionality in the right price range. Good reviews, and an extensive documentation and support area also helped on my decision. I received the unit complete with manual and spare parts (o-rings, L connectors, lock rings etc) well packed and in perfect condition. The pump, top filters, RO membrane housing, UV units, drivers come pre-assembled in a metal frame and with all the water tubings connected, except those for the tank, supply and dispose water which are dependent on the installation area. I left the unit free just standing on the the 3 bottom filter housings leaning as the space was tight and there was no risk of tipping and tumbling over. Otherwise I would highly recommend to use the supplied screws and secure it fast to one of the cabinet walls. The installation manual/instruction is well illustrated, color coded and thorough. It took me about 2-3 hours to prepare the AC outlets (two needed, one for the pump and the other for the UV lamp), setting up the incoming and the RO dispose water connectors and tubings, plus drilling the hard granite countertop for the supplied water faucet. The support team was quick and professional to reply to a question I had, and provided me with an easy to install solution. Tips from my experience: 1) VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT RUSH tearing the plastic foil wrapping the large three filters before reading the manual. As written there, do NOTE that on some of the labels of these filters there is a flow (an arrow) indicator showing the direction it should be mounted inside the filter housing. I find there could be a more eye-catching sticker on those filter packings, or the mount indication on the filter itself, something like, this side up/top. It took me a while to figure out the top side, the softer washer like side, I think When rushing to open the RO element which is vacuum packed, I found it quite odd that it was moist and dripping, but that is described on the label I did not read, and on the manual, I read later. It is some kind of protective liquid (do follow the instruction and discard, at least, the first 15 minutes of water before drinking anything— actually HEED all steps of the start-up procedure before opening the supply water valve and having the water flowing through a new filter) 2) The start-up part in the manual asks to verify if the UV lamp is working. There is an indicator light on the ballast/driver when it is on, but what about the lamp inside the metal housing? It is not possible to see it during the day. Only when it is DARK. The enclosed picture of my installation was taken in the dark. Note the blueish glow of the UV lamp through the plastic water connectors when it is on. The lamp will only go on when the faucet is open (the flow sensor connects to the ballast, and triggers the UV lamp on) but it will not turn off immediately when the faucet is shut. There is small delay but eventually it will turn off automatically. The ballast/driver was not fixed to the frame. I just set it on top of the pump adapter which was tied to the frame with a screw, arranged the cables neatly around it, and fastened it with two cable ties to the metal frame. 3) Although a small leakage alarm is also provided, the whole unit is pretty watertight, specially when considering the number of filters, tubing and connections. I noticed only one small leak at an L/elbow connector attached from the last filter (alkaline/mineral) with a tubing to the flow sensor of the UV unit. None of the other connections had any leaks. Instead of fighting this connector, I figured out a much simpler solution. This connector was an insert type (they call it stem type) as opposed to the other threaded ones. Since this filter had the same quick connect fitting (with a lock ring), I just used a piece of excess tubing (on my picture, the yellow one between the filter and the UV unit) to replace this connector (do follow the manual instructions to re-insert those tubings correctly as it is counterintuitive when removing a tubing from the fitting), and the leak was gone. 4) You have to physically shift the RO unit to the side so it protrudes a little bit to fit the opening tool (the black, round one with a smaller diameter, the larger one is for the 3 main filter housings at the bottom of the frame. It has been almost a month, a very positive impression, no problems, no leaks, great water quality, a real improvement when compared to our previous tap water.

Had some issue, excellent phone based customer service - update 8/15/2026 - 13 years in
Update 08/15/2026 - Well I have replace the filters multiple time and the RO membrane multiple times and the UV light as well. And everything worked good until about a month ago --- I noticed water under the sink leaking and traced the issue back to the pump head leaking. Lucky me I had a spare pump from a home built version for the aquarium and subbed that in and I am back in business again. So, for longevity I would give that a more than passing grade.... 13 years and all .... So anyone on the fence about which one to buy just go with iSpring and you won't be sorry Update 9/7/2014 - Everything is still working good, no more issues... TDS still along the lines listed on July Update 7/20/2014 - Everything works great now.. Alkaliner is in and no negative taste... water inlet measures 300~450 TDS, ..Running on a well and seems like every time there is a heavy rain the TDS picks up a bit... or when we went away for the weekend and came back it was a bit high and dropped off... outlet starts near 30 and drops down as it runs to around 15~17 TDS. So, Color me a happy customer now.. the initial instal/fit problems with the spout not really the companies issue since every sink is different. Also when fiddling I figured out my real problem with the hoses initially.. they were out of round a bit and wouldn't push all the way in.. now that I have the 'feel' for it, simple to tell what is right and wrong. Robert Update 7/12/2014 - Received the box of parts a couple of days ago but just got it in today. 1. The new pump is absolutely silent - Have to touch it to know it is running, so if you hear yours it is defective. Took about an hour to get it in.. mostly with finding some heat-shrink tubing and my heat gun.. have to take apart the all the filters to get to the screws. --- if you get a replacement pump ask for heat-shrink as well, I had some laying around, but most people don't.... 2. New blue clips are all in seems I was missing a couple of others as well I hadn't seen and he sent extras so all is well 3. Taste is still pending - New alkalizer cartridge is in for now and after I flush it a few times I ought to know if I just had a defective one or not. Verdict - Gonna keep it and marking it up to 5 stars... it isn't perfect, but very pleased with the company and the filter even if I end up dropping the alkalizer again. Robert Update 7/7/2014 - Received a call back, figured it would be after the holiday weekend. Very helpful: The alkaline filter was my taste issue... He is sending a new one to try out, and some tubing to leave it bypassed if it doesn't make it better. Let him listen to the booster pump and it is defective/going bad and he is sending along a new one of those. Sending out spare blue clips Bought "iSpring 100GPD 7-Stage Reverse Osmosis RO UV Alkaline Water Filter System with Booster Pump" from Amazon and installed it 6/28/2014 My skill level: Very handy - I do my own plumbing and sweat copper pipes or replace valves as needed. Installation: 2 hours - mostly spent figuring out how it was supposed to go, fixing leaks, and figuring out how to mount the tap on the sink. Good: Simple install with easy connections Bad Missing two of the blue clips (have contacted them, but haven't heard back yet) - used an E-clip from the toolbox until they send me the proper bit. Waiting on them to call me back so they can ship me the two clips. All the tubes had to be trimmed 1/4", they seem to have been cut with a heated blade at the factory and are just enough out of round to cause leaks.. trim them and they work fine. Instructions - Online Video is a must see and good - printed instructions need some serious work - The pictures don't match the filter, tube colors not printed on the pictures, etc... just needs a complete re-do by someone installing each type unit verse trying to be generic RO tap for the top of the sink - I used the sprayer hose hole verse drilling something new - the tap is WAY to small for this and with my sink being cast iron they hole is a bit over 1/4" thick... so the mounting hardware completely useless. Ended up cutting a piece of metal out in the garage and drilling a hole in it to feed the thing through and span the gap. A strap for this or a plastic spacer included in the kit would have been nice and saved me 20 minutes of fiddling in the garage to make something work. Usage - I've drained and refilled it about 10 times since install - it has a funky taste to it I was assuming from the tank, but to test I've removed the alkaline filter to verify that it isn't the cause. This is the second topic I am waiting on a call-back from Ispring on. How it works - The numbers - I also bought the dual TDS (total dissolved solids) in-line meter so I could have numbers to watch and see when to change the filters verse just guessing. TDS at the inlet is approx 300PPM... I confirmed this with an aquarium water test kit... my GH and KH are both pretty high.... Outlet TDS in the tube feeding the tap: with alkaline filter in - first cup or two of water - 180 TDS - after that it drops quickly to 27~30 TDS. With the alkaline filter out - around 15~18 TDS My conclusion is that the alkaline filter DOES something, but unless you are only taking a cup at a time and letting it build up again it doesn't add a lot. The Booster pump - Wow, for what it is and does it is LOUD - not as loud as an old school dishwasher, but an annoying clank/clatter to be sure. It is mounted on a cradle that has rubber washers to the bracket so they tried something, but the clatter comes from the pump itself. Going to ask them about this when I talk to them as well. Conclusion - It seems to do the job of filtering, but unless we can get to the bottom of the taste issue I'll return it. If I do keep it I'll probably wrap the pump in some dynamat to kill the noise. If they call me back and we solve the missing parts and taste issue I'll probably raise the rating from 3 stars to 5. If they don't call me back and make it right I'll return it. Robert

Very Good packaging, good instructions, good first impression.
I am going to knock off 1 star for amazon fullfillment since the package traveled 6 days up and down the east coast before making it to my house. I ordered it before my fridge was delivered and still didnt make it on time. The new amazon customer service is just plain useless. For the product itself, it was packaged very well and resisted several blow to the box. No damages inside the boxes. Install is straight forward , i replaced an older system so i knew what i was getting into. Tubing is color coded so no mistake could be made. Once system is back washed and purged, it takes a bit of time to generate clean water. I am not so sure about the 100g per day. Booster pump is silent and you cant hear the system. Extended Warranty registration is somewhat weird since you have to open a ticket with customer support. But Sean @ ispring was responsive and quick. That's a plus. First tasting was weird. I guess the remineralization add a little taste. It will hopefully go away but it is still better than city tap water. So far i am happy with this system. Will monitor energy usage as it settles in.

Ottimo!
Mi ero già rivolto in precedenza all’assistenza iSpring e sempre il sig. Francis.

Exceptional Performance and Value
I've long been aware of the concerns surrounding tap water quality in the UK. From chlorine taste to potential contaminants like fluoride etc., it's understandable why many people opt for bottled water. However, the iSpring RCC1UP-AK 100GPD Under Sink 7-Stage system has provided a reliable and affordable solution to these issues. I've been using the iSpring RCC1UP-AK 100GPD Under Sink 7-Stage system for over a month now and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. After experiencing persistent limescale issues with our previous Brita kettle, the iSpring system has been a game-changer. The water quality is noticeably superior, resulting in improved taste and a noticeable difference in cooking outcomes. Additionally, the system has significantly reduced our reliance on bottled water, making it a more sustainable and cost-effective choice. The installation process was straightforward, and customer support was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the registration for the extended warranty. Overall, I highly recommend the iSpring RCC1UP-AK to anyone seeking a reliable and efficient under-sink water filtration system.

Verdaderamente impresionado!
Definitivamente recomendado.
