Emballage endommagé, creuset cassé mal emballé et de la rouille. Le couvercle n’avait pas de vis compris. Lorsque installer la température ne monte pas même apres deux bonbonnes de propane neuves. Tres déçu de cette article je me fais rembourser.

The kit came with everything you'd need and it was decently packaged. I had some issues with getting it up to temperature and the lady from the company was very helpful. It took a little longer than I expected to melt the copper.The pros:• well-made components• good packaging • decent customer service• easy to assemble• only one tool needed for assembly• compact and easy to store• the tongs were hand forged (looked like they were made from rebar and are very durable!)The cons:• the finish on the forge isn't very durable• the directions were sub-par (thankfully customer support for the product was excellent though and was able to help me get some things straightened out.• The tongs that came with it aren't large / wide enough to remove the crucible without grabbing it only on one side and tilting it, which is a little awkward. It would be better if they had measured the grip width to make sure it opened wide enough to grab both sides of the exterior. They still will get the job done, but it is definitely an area for improvementSuggestions for Improvements:• more clear directions• better pictures• better coating on forge shellSustains:• keep up the good communication• the kit is very well put together (complete)• the hand forged tongs are great featureOverall, this was a great experience with this kit, and I would still recommend it for those starting out in this hobby, and the company has good potential for these forge kits, but I think they have a greater expectation of base knowledge than what I might have come to the table with, despite the fact I have been working for a little while with forging. None of the cons were significant enough though to discourage me from the adventure of using it though, and I can't wait to try some more projects for my knife making with it this summer.

J’ai fait fondre 20 lbs de cop hier pour la premierre fois ca pris 1 h avant être chaud les autres batch ont pris 10 min vu que c’était deja chaud je la recommande a tlm et en 3 h ca a pris a peut près 3-4 littre de propane!! Économe!!

Product is leaking propane and is not as good as I thought it would be for that much money. The crucible was cracked. The lid very loose. It is like it was hand made but just not very well. Tangs are very loose as well. Gloves had two small holes.

The gloves are trash and the tongs are not the best. You could get this same setup for less money....however, if you get this one it will work just fine. We have done a few "small" batches since purchase and it works. It melts aluminum just fine. The tongs make it a little hard to pour and the crucible itself does not have a "pour spout" but it heats fine and heats thoroughly. It does seem to use a lot of propane and is a bit of a pain in the ass to figure out how to use the first time (our box did not come with instructions) but we got through it and I don't regret the purchase.
