San Jamar Versa-Mat Interlocking Sanitary Bar Mats

We have a very big, odd-shaped kitchen sink made by Kohler--deep throughout, large and circular on the right and smaller and rectangular on the left. Finding anything approaching a good protective matt (or combination of matts) to fit the odd-shaped bottom edge-to-edge and allow food scraps to drain out was impossible. After years of putting up with ill-fitting and discolored, deteriorating rubber matts, I found this product. I made a template matching the bottom of the sink, put 6 of these together (they seem to hold together quite well), mapped out the shape I needed on top of them with this template, cut out the shape AND a hole over the garbage disposal, and Voila! a perfect-fitting and highly protective matt. (I used the clear ones). I'm so delighted with this that I'm actually taking the time to write a review. My wife and I did some testing on left-over portions of matt--the material seems initially unaffected by pots that are hot, although we haven't pushed any limits on this yet, and the raised structure of the material provides really excellent cushioning when glasses, for instance, are dropped. We love it.Altogether, a GREAT solution for a problem we've endured for a long time for lack of a solution like this one!

This is perfect for what we needed. I was able to cut two shape three tiles, to fit in a relatively large shelf in my shower.I've tried a bunch different things meant for showers and bathtubs. This is definitely the best so far.

I bought these to put over puppy pads so my pup wouldn't wade through her own pee and leave little footprints on the floor. I was mopping a LOT. LOL. I layered a 2'x3' crate tray with puppy pads and then 6 of these squares. It works great! The pee goes straight through to the pad and her feet stay dry! They are easy to carry to be sprayed off either individually or together. Best of all my puppy didn't seem to mind switching to it instantly and seems to like it!

We have to ship our cats via plane a couple of times a year. I use the mats to line my pet-carrying travel kennels. The 1/2" square hole are just the right size.Before using these mats I lined the bottom of the kennel with an absorbent pad taped in place - but that never worked well. The pads shift around and get bunched up during handling. If one of that cats had to urinate while in transit - it was a terrible mess.With these mats - which I cut to fit the bottom of the kennel - I line the bottom with an absorbent pad then place the mat on top of the pad. This way the cat is about 1/2" above the pad. Should the cat need to go - it's separated from the wet pad. Plus... the mat keeps the pads from bunching up as it's held in place by the mat.With my kennels - I use a small-size travel kennel - I need about 1 & 1/3 mats. I hook them together then cut to fit the kennel. They'd work well in larger kennels too - you'd just need to use enough to fill the kennel bottom.Works great!

Even thought the description says it is "dishwasher safe" it warped pretty badly in my residential dishwasher. Loved it until then.

These are much thicker and sturdier than I expected for the price

Great for the bar I own and easy to clean and actually know that it's clean over the black ones we use to have. Even use them at home in cabinets.

I bought 3 of these for my Lance 865 truck camper. They fit on the floor of the shower and keep the water off your feet while the shower floor is drying. These campers have a wet bath, which means that you walk into the shower to use the toilet. Small space that works much better now that these are installed.
