What does this solar power meter measure?

It measures solar radiation (insolation) falling on a horizontal surface. The range is 0–1999 W/m² or 0–634 BTU/(ft²·h), with accuracy of ±10 W/m² and ±3 BTU/(ft²·h). It suits solar panel evaluation, meteorology, and environmental monitoring.

Can I switch between W/m² and BTU units?

Yes. The meter supports dual-unit switching between W/m² and BTU/(ft²·h) to match different testing requirements, making it easier to compare results across solar-energy and heat-radiation applications.

How does the MAX/MIN tracking function work?

Press the dedicated button to record the highest and lowest irradiance values during a session. This lets you observe changes in sunlight intensity over time without needing to watch the display continuously.

What is the manual zeroing feature and when should I use it?

Manual zeroing lets you set the correct baseline before taking a measurement. Press the zero-adjust control prior to testing to ensure accurate readings from the start. The clear digital display supports straightforward operation throughout.

Great device - lots of bang for your buck, and great support!

I purchased this on the advice of a "biohacker blogger" to test the irradiance of photobiomodulation units. While they aren't meant to be completely accurate, because of the various factors involved in testing, for the price you pay, and the conditions, they do give you a very usable result. They're definitely recommended for the purpose described. Also - when I was having problems with the device, I received a very fast reply from customer services - and several follow ups to make sure that the problem had been solved.I recommend both the product and the company.
