Death to the Supermodels

I liked it
A funny movie. Lots of surprises that I never saw coming, which is nice. The humor is exceedingly juvenile, but they pull it off pretty well. Some of the plot twists are completely over the top as well.

Death of The Super Models - Near Death Experience
When I watched this Movie I was thinking I was going to see totally hot Babe Supermodels. The Hotest Girl there was jamie Pressly! The story is Jamies Character gets a Chance to make her big break with the photo shoot of her life if she can get them all to agree to go on to the Island. It takes its pot shoots at the modelling world with regards to diet and pills as all these movies do. These can be the high point. The photgraphers are to gays one who is constantly jealous of the other talking to any one else. These are also a funny pair at time. This is not something you run to the video store to get. It's more like the free one you can choose when you rent the new release. Jamie Pressly is the best the way she tries to keep it all together.

Don't bother seeing this movie.
The two photographer characters were entertaining. But that's no reason to spend any money, or allocate any time, to view this. No point in writing more. This movie is not deserving of any further comment.

This movie rocks!!
OK, this movie's hilarious. I saw it when it test-screened last year in LA. Back then I thought it was so funny and totally original that it would be in theatres. I guess a big studio bought it but didn't put it out theatrically. It's so clever and sarcastic you remember it a lot more than your normal popcorn studio comedy. First of all, the "asexual" photographers Gunther and Gerd are off the hook. They dress identically in these ridiculous outfits, and one is a mute while the other can read his mind. They point out that they're not gay, they only spoon. They're always fighting over who's gonna be the inner or outer spoon. LOL. The movie's about this magazine editor who organizes a photo shoot for the world's greatest supermodels. Jaime Pressly is so funny as the editor. She's obsessed with supermodels, has their posters all over her room and fantasizes that the supermodels will want to make her one of them. The main supermodel is played by Brooke Burns, Bruce Willis' old girlfriend. I thought she'd just be eye candy, but she's the funniest playing the German supermodel.Guys will dig the movie because the hot supermodels are in bikinis for like the entire movie, but we like it because we get to see these vain creatures killed off in symbolic and really funny ways. It's a really smart comedy.

It needed more.......just more.
Hassle free transaction.no spoilers. - just a whinge about how not great this is.given the premise the possibilities for this to be great or really entertaining were huge. However it never took off. Thankfully its not over long.the joke - and there is really only one joke - is quite good. but the padding scenes/stories along the way are just not there. Perhaps schoolboy humour is best left to schoolboy types. I don't know.JP tries valiantly but since it never took off none of it could land. all too predictably the end came and there was no 'punchline'.They should've gone more grown up and could have exploited the gag possibilities more. The inner monologue-esque self help tape was about the only thing consistently entertaining.I know it wasn't meant to be serious - but even funny films have to be well scripted - perhaps more so AND have more meat on the bone.

HUMOURLESS AND OFFENSIVE CR*P MADE FOR MOVIE MORONS!
Really awful "teen comedy" Slasher film parody! A group of dumb, bitchy supermodels are on a desert island photo shoot. They are being stalked by a grouchy, jealous lesbian psycho. There's no gore, a bit of nudity and zero humour (Even if you're Beavis & Butt-Head!!) The film totally relies on being offensive which wears thin after 5 minutes. The blonde-haired buxom German model has very hairy armpits and wears a black 'SS' bikini!!?Watch an episode of Baywatch instead and imagine that Mitch is gay and Alexandra Paul plays a serial killer!

What a waste of Jamie Pressly
This film is really quite bad. 5 super models go to an Island for a photo shoot and start getting picked off one at a time. The film tries to be funny and fails. It tries to be clever and fails. If this was a B Movie I might be able to forgive the films shortcomings, I love Jamie Pressly in "My Name Is Earl" and Kimberly Davies I think is just beautiful, but they are wasted in this. This film has nothing to it, I really would not recomend this film.
