On Stage KT7800 Padded Keyboard Bench

I purchased this bench specifically because of two reasons: (1) I could fit it - along with a tabletop type keyboard stand - inside a  On Stage KSB6500 Keyboard Stand Bag , and (2), it is reasonably light weight at eleven pounds.This is not for prolonged sitting like for four hour gigs. As a home or studio bench, though, it is ideal. I did purchase this for gigs as well, but since we play retirement homes most of those are one to two hours, so it is comfortable enough for those periods.The height adjustment range is from 18.75 to 20.5 inches, but e aware that at the 20.5 inch height the center of gravity is raised to the point where you can tip over of you lean back. The seat area is an ample 12 x 17 inches.I found the construction and build quality to be first rate. It folds compactly for transport and is more than adequate as a home bench. Compared to other benches in this price range I think this one is among the best - and I did my research in stores examining an array of benches before making a final purchase decision.

Our church handbell choir has been looking for an adjustable stool to use during practice. It has to be comfortable, sturdy and safe. We have to be able to play the bells , reach to turn music pages without feeling like going to tip over. Round stools were not comfortable or safe (tipped/rocked). These work for us. We like that they are adjustable because choir members are able to adjust to their individual height requirements. The bench is comfortable and does not "rock" when we move.

This looks really nice . I received a Christmas and needed something other than a chair. This is good height and easy to slide off. The brand of the stand that came with the keyboard is the same as this bench—On Stage and the bench was an Amazon Choice.

This padded keyboard bench is firm in the cushion and the adjustable height works well with my “On Stage” adjustable height keyboard stand that I have. The bench has a screw anchor rather than the hand lever for the adjustable height, so it makes one feel more secure. It is sturdy.

I weigh 275 pounds and this chair works well for me. Sturdy construction and comfortable. I would recommend this chair for anyone of any size.

A well designed, sturdy and quality crafted piano bench that is comfortable and roomy.

Very comfortable (I'm close to 200 lbs). Very stable on hard floor, rocks front-to-back on wall-to-wall carpet. With less expensive ones you unfold and snap the leg into the stand. here there are two screws that you must tighten a little after setting it up. I suppose that's more secure but takes longer to set up. Also, when folded, less expensive ones stay flat. For this one, the attachment from the leg to the stool rotates freely, so you have to hold it together.

Seems to be well made. But the seat foam is hard, very little to no compression so its not comfortable for long sessions. I sat on a friend's seat that was almost identical to this and branded as by "The Music Store" and the seat cushion was so much more comfortable on theirs..

The description and pictures do not match the product I received. Advertised is a 23.5 inch wide bench which I received the first time I order it a couple years ago. (see pictures bottom bench) What I receive on my next couple attempts was a 17inch wide bench. The Amazon page has never updated to be correct. I gave it about 3 months of returns, exchanges and then had to move on to another lesser quality product.Five stars because the product is very good. The 23.5 bench is sturdy and I gig with this one. Comfortable, Sturdy and packs up easy. Four Stars for the 17inch bench. Quite honestly, I don't know if this is getting posted to the proper page as it is a mess of a combination of KT7800 and KT7800 Plus. The KT7800 Plus is now advertised and it is wrong too. Look close at the rubber feet, length and how they latch under the seat. Hope this helps someone get the right product as advertised or the page updated to be correct.

This product has 3 issues so far.#1 it is not as described. It is supposed to have height 4 positions but it only has 3. Amazon said they would correct it and send another one, the correct one. The one they sent was identical. Rather than hassle with it I decided to keep it as the maximum height worked for me.#2 It was hard as a rock when I first started using it.#3 The support has now collapsed.I play 1-2 hours every few days and weigh 160lbs. After 1 month of use, the support is completely gone and there is a permanent depression in the seat that does not rebound, as you can see in the picture. Poor quality, save your money and get anything else.

Es cómodo y se ve un poco resistente aunque muy ligero y como pues peso más 90 kg al moverte se mueve un poco , pero es funcional y cumple el propósito, con 4 patas que tuviera seria más estable que con las de tijera que tiene.

The stool does not require any assembly except to adjust the height.It rattles a bit when picked up, as the top of the one leg that inserts into the frame just slides in and is stopped from slipping out by two screws that are not flushed to the leg itself. The rattling comes from the leg hitting against the screws. This is only when the stool is picked up, otherwise, it does sit nicely on the floor with no wobbling.The seat is not well padded at all and since I just received it a couple hours ago, I have not sat long enough on it, although I sense that it will give me a numb or even sore bum after an hour or so of sitting. Well, for the price, I suppose I cannot expect a plush soft seat.
