Professional Animal 30 Fine Competition Series Detachable Blade with 1/32-Inch Cut Length (2355-100)

I'm posting this purely because I couldn't find the dimensions of the 10W blade anywhere! For your reference, it is 2.5in wide. I haven't used it yet, but I bought the regular 10 Wahl blade (which is 2in wide), and it works beautifully. High quality.

I was really disappointed with this blade. Fresh out of the package, it went dull before I could even finish one medium-sized dog. I take good care of my blades (cleaning, oiling, cooling), so this isn’t an issue of maintenance. For the price and the Wahl brand name, I expected much better performance. A clipper blade should last multiple dogs before needing sharpening, but this one struggled right away. I’ll be switching back to other brands that hold an edge longer.

Replace my original shear blades that became dull cutting the hair of my Golden Doddle. New blades are working great.Will try to have my dull set resharpened.

I needed to add an update because I was wrong! My clippers came with a 10 blade, which wouldn’t cut through the hair with an attachment comb. I needed to buy a shorter blade so I went with a 40 because I thought it would give an even cleaner cut than a 30. Well… no… the combs didn’t fit right and the teeth broke on the 40 blade. Come to find out, I bought the wrong blade. It’s my understanding that the 30 blade is what needs to be used with an attachment comb. The 40 is much too small which is why the combs slide. So yeah, nothing wrong with this product, just user error. I don’t understand how this broke on me brand new. And the guard combs that I got with it, one of them is too big and slides around in the blade. Probably how the teeth broke.

Works good. I never get cheaper copy cat blades after they failed right away and I ended up throwing them away. On this blade, it cuts well and I'm not sure if its the clipper blade or the Wahl clipper (KM10) but it stays cool so much longer than my old Andis with Andis detachable clipper blades. I'll never go back to Andis or cheap China blades.

no me ha durado nada,la compré a finales de Verano y no he podido realizar más de 7cortes con ella...

J'ai trouvé que les véritables lames Wahl fonctionnent mieux sur mes tondeuses Wahl. Sachez simplement que commander des produits au Royaume-Uni a maintenant tendance à prendre du temps pour arriver, pas une falt des entreprises. Le système postal du Brexit devrait s'améliorer avec le temps. Bonne lame et compagnie qui fournit.

I purchased this blade in order to use something else besides the number 10 which is only 2 mm long that came with my KM five. I’m very happy with the quality of this blade, and the 6 mm length is perfect for my Yorkies. Not too short to where he can see the skin but long enough so that they still have a little bit of hair after the haircut.
