Cottage Garden True Friends Grateful Petite Locket Distressed Music Box, Blue

Bought this for my mom to give to an old friend moving away soon (along with a bracelet that matched in color) and this is just absolutely adorable. It doesn't fit much, especially with the music box in place - it's more for show and fits some very small jewelry. But it's just absolutely gorgeous and well made. I wound it up so that when she opened it, it would start playing the music and it was perfect, she nearly cried. Perfect for someone who enjoys sentimental gifts. I'll be buying another for myself as soon as i have a few dollars to spare

I bought this for my best friend and she had tears. This keep sake box surprised me because it has a music box inside, an actual lock and key that fits, and a nice heart locket. Super special to give and worth every penny.

I got this as a gift for my best friend. She loves it but it’s smaller than expected. She puts only her favorite & most precious jewelry in it since it locks. It’s a gorgeous little box & very giftable, just note it’s small.

Ordered this item fir a Christmas present and when I received it the glass was broken.

Love the beautiful box and the expression of true friendship on the window card but when you open it to wind up the music box that plays "That's What Friends Are For" it didn't shut off when you close the box lid because the button to do that didn't reach the lid to shut it off when you close it. Rewinding the music to play again grew shorter and shorter and now plays only about 3 seconds before you need to rewind for another 3 seconds of play. So bummed, it would have been a perfect gift if not for the lame music box.

I gave it as a gift to a friend. She loved it! It is well worth the price!

When this was delivered the lid frame was not attached to the box. As it was a birthday gift for someone the following day it was too late to send the box back and re-order, so I ended up gluing the lid frame myself. It is a lovely item, but the item should have been checked prior to despatch. It was very fortunate that I was able to repair it myself.

I got it and the music box was broken and not able to be put inside properly as the whole box was built crooked and the key to the lock did not work etc. but being that it was received so close to the date of the event I had to make due and removed the music box and fixed the inside that was all crooked and not correct and made due with what I had as a new one would not arrive in time for the date I needed it. Very cheaply made for the price as I could have gone to the dollar store and purchased a better time for much less. Sorry I would not recommend this item.

I was very disappointed in this box .the construction is poor. The lid doesn’t open well and the music box sounds horrible.
