I recently started using Chlorhexidine 2% for Horses & Dogs, and it has become an invaluable product in my pet care routine. Here’s why I love it: Pros: Effective Wound Care: I used this solution to care for my duck’s back wound, and it worked wonders as a flush. It effectively cleans and disinfects, promoting faster healing. Versatile Cleaning Agent: It’s incredibly useful for cleaning and disinfecting animal enclosures. I also use it to mop my pet room floors, and it leaves everything thoroughly clean and sanitized. Large Quantity: The one-gallon size is perfect for multiple uses. It’s a cost-effective way to ensure I always have enough on hand for various cleaning and disinfecting tasks. Safe for Animals: I appreciate that it’s formulated for use with horses and dogs, which gives me confidence that it’s safe for my pets when used as directed. Easy to Use: The solution is straightforward to apply and doesn’t require any special equipment. It’s convenient and practical for regular use. Cons: Strong Odor: The solution has a strong medicinal smell, but this is a minor issue compared to its effectiveness. Conclusion: Chlorhexidine 2% for Horses & Dogs is a fantastic product for anyone looking for a versatile and effective disinfectant. Its ability to aid in wound care, clean animal enclosures, and sanitize floors makes it a valuable addition to my pet care routine. I highly recommend this product for its reliability and multiple uses.

This is a great disinfectant for animal wounds or used as a disinfectant cleaner for your home. The smell is not very potent. This gallon jug last me well over a year!! Important to know is that it needs diluted for most applications!! I have used this as a disinfectant for my reptile enclosures, just dilute it and put in a spray bottle. Have used it to clean wounds on most animals as well as people. Not a sticky cleaner. Works well for what I need it to!! Never had any issues! I deep clean my reptile enclosures with this since it’s not as strong of a smell as bleach is and works great!! Safe to use around pets, just don’t let them ingest it without consulting a vet first. I have used this diluted formula for a mouth cleaner in bearded dragons with mouth rot. I absolutely love this disinfectant!! My whole family uses it!!

This might be the most industrial-sized bottle of anything I’ve ever bought for a 90-pound dog. No, I don’t run a barn. No, I don’t own a horse. I’m just a grown adult who still hasn’t figured out how to read fluid ounces like a functional human. So now I have enough antiseptic to sanitize a battlefield. I panicked a little when it arrived and thought I was supposed to pour it straight on my dog like some kind of chemical cleanse. Surprise, it needs to be diluted. That would’ve been a nice detail to fully process before unscrewing the cap like I was prepping for surgery. Maybe next time print that part in font size “ARE YOU SURE?” That said, it’s an awesome product. Works incredibly well for cleaning paws, hot spots, and mystery itches. No weird residue. No overpowering smell. Just good old reliable antiseptic. I asked my dog for feedback. He stared at me with quiet rage, because every time I wipe his paws with this stuff, it means he doesn’t get to lick them for a solid 30 minutes. He doesn’t care about science. He just wants his salty toe beans back. Pictured next to my Captains of Crush hand gripper for scale. Because if I’m going to misjudge size again, I might as well do it consistently. For the record, usage directions specify two tablespoons per gallon of clean water. Five stars. For performance, value, and a bottle big enough to outlive me by three generations.
