PLEASE REMEMBER TO LIST YOUR VEHICLE YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL WHEN LEAVING A REVIEW – MOST PEOPLE READ REVIEWS TO SEE IF IT WILL WORK FOR THERE VEHICLE Be sure to look at the wiring diagram photo I have posted with this review, it is accurate. I found it in the Podofo store on amazon for the 2023B radio and is the only place I found it and it is what I used without iussue! The photo might save you some wiring headaches. I gave it 5 stars because for the money, you can’t beat it! No, it’s not a $600 radio, but again for the money, $33.11, it is a great radio! The sound is very good with plenty of volume without distortion. Everything works as advertised! Screen picture quality is ok – easy to read in the Nevada sun. Videos/movies look ok – no issues. The only con I have is, it is a little tricky to mount in my truck but considering that the dash is not a flat dash – it is what it is and not the fault of the seller or factory. I have looked at many great looking installs on YouTube. My truck is a 2005 ford F250 Superduty diesel 4x4 extended cab with 8’ bed. I will buy another unit for my boat. Some install notes – hope it helps… I used the Metra 95-5812 mounting kit. I only used the two side brackets as the Metra face plate of the kit fits the dash good, however the face plate is too small for the radio. As the radio came with an outer trim ring/plate, I used it because it is the same opening width as the dash opening side to side and about 1/8“shorter in height and I can split the difference. I epoxied the trim ring that came with the radio to the radio. I needed to modify/add mount holes on the side bracket to fit the radio mount hoes, side mount bracket fit to the truck was perfect. To get a good fit to the dash opening (flush fit at the face) I simply used washers as spacers between the side brackets and the truck mount holes to move it forward to the dash opening. Note that the dash opening IS Not parallel flat, it has curves so you will stack washers as necessary to flush it out. I know this sounds like a lot, but it is easy to get it done. I used the Metra 70-5520 wire harness – Perfect for my f250! Again, see the posted wiring diagram for the radio – this will remove the second guessing of wiring it up. On the backup camera wiring, simple, you will need an extra 3ft yellow/video RCA cable and connector and a 3ft pc of 14ga wire because the camera cable supplied is not long enough for a extended cab or longer truck. Maybe 6 ft for a crew cab. Or you can purchase an extension cable with the red wires on Amazon for about $10. Kinda funny, one short extension wire cost one third of the cost of the radio! I ran the cable up the driver side frame underneath from the rear of the truck to just in front of the driver seat (with zip ties along the way), there you will find a small rubber grommet in the floor under the carpet about where your left foot would rest if you were sitting in the driver’s seat, wiring enters the cab here. Lift the carpet and you will see it. Plug the RCA cable into the radio and connect the added wire to the pink wire on the radio harness, run them out the back and down and connect to the video RCA and the wire to the red wire on the video cable that came with the radio. At the taillight, tap into the reverse light, black with purple stripe is positive and solid black is negative. The red wire from the video cable and the red wire from the camera power plug go to the positive (black w/purple stripe) and the black from the camera power plug goes to the negative (black wire). Now the camera should be operational. Also note that it might be that the unit has a “Microphone in” jack (small Black Jack like for ear buds) on the back of the radio just to the left of all the RCA jacks, this is what it is on other radios by Podofo, but I am not sure and have not tried it yet to see if it is and it is not called out. I have shown the location on the wire diagram (in red letters and arrow). Good luck!

Bought an old truck that someone had already installed a fancy pioneer touchscreen in, but he busted the screen and so I needed to replace it. Picked this up because it was cheap, and I need a radio while I'm driving or I go insane, and it's been great. Easy enough to install if you can match colors, though the backup camera doesn't work but oh well. My only gripe is that it's an inch too narrow and probably half and inch too tall for a double din opening. Not really a problem, made it fit height-wise, because my dash was already a little broken, and I just leave it open on one side with a little chunk of plastic to hold it still. Mine doesn't overheat like some reviews say, and the screen is plenty responsive. I don't us any of the fancy stuff, or even the radio part, just the Bluetooth. It is quiet on phone calls both for me and for whoever is calling, but I rarely use that function either. It's strictly for my tunes while I'm driving. It never disconnects on me, and the volume seems fine even with the factory speakers in my 95 Suburban.

This radio is garbage. I put it in my 2011 Chevy Aveo along with new JBL front door speakers & Alpine rear speakers. All you can hear is static. You can't hear the music clearly at all. Then when I tried to return the radio, the company said no, my 30 days were up. I explained that the reason it took longer was because I was waiting on my speakers to come in. The company absolutely didn't care. Wanted me to record how it sounded which I did, then I never received another response. On top of all that, Amazon was no help at all & I normally love Amazon but at this point I don't think I will be doing near as much shopping on here as before. Do not buy! It's a waste of money. The radio goes off when it wants to, the connection app on the phone doesn't open, none of the features they show on the radio work right, equalizer settings reset every time you turn your car off, & connections are terrible. They shouldn't even be allowed to sell this! & I can't believe Amazon. Now I'm stuck with a radio that I can't do anything with & had to buy a different radio for my car (I chose Pioneer this time, a brand you can rely on & actually has good customer service)!! It's a complete waste of money!! I gave it 1 star just so I could leave this review! I actually give them 0 stars!!!

Haven't had a chance to use the back up camera yet, as I haven't had time to set it up, but the radio works great! Everything works as it should and I am very happy with this purchase!!
