1800 PRS with Adjustable Pattern Standard MPR Nozzle

Brought a new home and quickly realized the head was broken. After hearing from full spectrum yard service how much it would cost to fix the rain bird head and another find them all in the yard and then get them working properly, I went and watched a YouTube video and figured it out myself and it works great. Easy to install it even gave me the confidence when my neighbor said that she had some guy come out and fix hers and it was still leaking to go and fix it for her.

There are several choices of pop up sprinkler heads to choose from on the market. I chose this brand and type based on many years of installing sprinklers, and finding the best brand for the price and for the job. The Rainbird is by far the best brand out there, compared to both the cheaper and more expensive products. This particular one (I purchased multiples for the job) replaced the existing misters which are prone to sending water in the air, vs this type that has heavier droplets, with more water on the ground. Provided the underground pipe has already been installed, this is a no brainer. Just remove the old and install the new. Adjustments to the head can be made with a screwdriver, but I would recommend a special one sold by rainbird. As stated on the product page, it is adjustable from 0 to 360 degrees, and has a spray distance of 4'. All of this is correct. I haven't had one fail yet. The quality of these sprinkler heads are excellent, as expected. Having had experience with both commercial and residential irrigation, with products that are twice the amount, this sprinkler line can't be beat for residential lawns.

Great product, easy for me to replace it by myself. Also didn't need any extra tools to adjust the sprinkler to hit exactly where I wanted it too. Is made of a lot of plastic so we will see how long it lasts, but they are cheap so a few years out of it will be fine with me.

The item is a great product and is the measurements it says on the sprinkler itself. The product isn't the issue. Product is 5 stars but the attention to orders placed from the company, Max Warehouse,, is currently a 1 star. They sent me the wrong product twice in a row, same wrong product. The ones I ordered are 8-15' spray distance and they sent 4' spray distance, twice. Someone either isn't paying attention or something is shelved in the wrong place or both. Returns were easy and no fuss so 5 star for that but I shouldn't have to return it twice for same issue of wrong product sent. So, overall a 5 star for product RainBird, but a 3 for the company Max Warehouse. I just had them refund me the second time.

This item replace the shorter version, which could not reach over the border between the lawn and garden. Easy to install and adjust.

Exactly as advertised. The flexibility of adjusting the spray angle is so useful!

Used a few of these for an above ground system, does a great job, just make sure you use the right nozzles for your application
