Kurgo Loft Wander Dog Bed, Chili Red, Large

I ordered this dog bed for camping and another knockoff for my two 75-90 lb dogs to try. This one is far superior in quality and comfort. One of my dogs has hip issues and gets sore after a full day of outdoor activity - she far preferred this bed over any other surface. It had good padding over rocky ground. It was easy to clean and rollup when we packed up camp. Definitely not a bed to take backpacking, but it’s great for car/RV camping. If you want your fur baby to be comfortable, spend the extra $ and get a quality dog bed. I will be ordering a second so both of my dogs can be spoiled!

Update: still an awesome travel bed! Washes great. Perfect dog sleeping bag. The outside picture with this review is 2 years later. Our local trivia spot is dog-friendly. Excited to use it there, and for getaways. My dog liked it immediately; the photo is of her lying on it after unboxing. She hates pictures, so please don’t let her expression deter you (i did not ask her to lie down and then snap this). The bed feels good quality and rolls up easily. It has a pocket! that easily holds a large-sized chew with room to spare. My dog goes through beds quickly - it’s difficult to find one with solid-quality material. The padding material and fabric quality of this bed exceed expectations. I look forward to having this for years to come. The model pictured, Vera, is a medium-sized pit 65lbs. I will update this review as time goes on if there are any significant deficiencies.

Perfect size and amazing loft. Super comfy for our dog (and yes us too a few times) , easy to clean, really durable. The water proof bottom is perfect for use camping- we bought it to take camping for her, it packs up , not exactly small so car camping only- but rolls up super easy. It’s been great to toss on the ground, bottom protects from damp and the comfy top has enough loft to cushion her- important since she’s an older tripaw. We’ve taken it to visit friends and she knows exactly where to go lay down. Top is easy to wipe clean. I really can’t say enough about this - well constructed, durable, comfy, easy to clean and my pup loves it ! Buy it now your furry friend will thank you and you’ll be a rockstar pet parent.

I purchased two different dog mats and this was clearly the better of the two. I used it both in my camper as well as on the ground outside while camping. It truly is water resistant and the dirt/mud easily shakes off or can be cleaned with a damp rag. The padding is minimal but it’s a nice barrier between the ground and my puppy. I’ve also started training her to “place” on this as I will be using it for traveling on airplanes and trains while in Europe. She is not at chewer so I can’t speak to how chew resistant it is but it’s durable yet still easy to roll up for transport. The dog is a 49 pound Australian Shepherd and she curls up nicely on this.

Kurgo makes very durable pet products and this is not an exception. Good quality, quick drying and real moisture resistance. Don't understand the zipper pocket in the corner, that retains moisture more than the rest of the mat? But, still much better than Coleman and other portable mats that I've purchased.

So far, I really like this bed for my two Great Danes! I haven't used it for the reason I purchased it yet (camping), so I hopefully it will continue to be an awesome dog bed when I do camp with them. I am currently using it in my SUV along with another bed (which I'm replaing with another one of these BTW). It has a decent amount of cushion which is surprising for a travel bed. The other travel dog beds I have seen have either been too thin or just not big enough for my two Danes. The grip in the car is great. I haven't noticed any sliding around except when the other dog bed I have in there pushes it. Nice grippy bottom. I love that I can just throw it in the wash without having to take off any layers. The material is that of a sleeping bag too, which is what I was going for since it would be for camping purposes. Easy to clean and moisture wicking. Both of my dogs seem to find it comfy! It is better than my last camping experience where we brought out our regular dog beds. Since we camped further away from our car, we had to lug them over there and since with live it Washington, it stays somewhat damp depending on where you are at, so I was afraid of it being too cold. We also couldn't bring them in our tent after we had them outside because the fabric wasn't easy to clean. I think that this new dog bed is going to solve all these issues!

This is probably my favorite piece of dog equipment! I originally bought it to go through the airport with. I've trained her to settle on it in almost any circumstance, and it acts as a little safe space for her. I have taken it through 8 flights over the last two years, and bring it to random places for her to practice settling on, including the dog park and restaurants. We also have used this for obedience class. The roll up feature makes this convenient to transport. The other awesome thing is that there is a lifetime warranty! Plus a repair/replace option! We had one of the straps tear after two years hard use and they replaced it for free. If you tear your bed and it doesn't fall under the warranty, you can send it in and they will fix it/replace it for a nominal fee.

I bought this in hopes it would work out for my dog’s travel kennel for car trips. We usually put a blanket in it, since the travel kennel is too small for our dog bed. This worked out perfect! It didn’t bunch up and stayed in place. It gave enough softness for my dog without worrying he was all elbows, knees, and ribs on the hard kennel floor. He slept comfortably for the whole car trip. I’m quite pleased with this roll out portable bed.

I bought this mat for our cairn terrier. This was her first time camping and I wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. We first laid this out at home hoping she'll get used to it before camp. NOPE. She didn't want anything to do with it. But, she seemed to know this mat was for her when it was time to sleep in the tent (first night). She took to it right away. This also became her car comfy bed during our multi-day long drives from Nova Scotia Canada to Upstate NY. It rained several times, she tracked water onto the mat, but it seems to have quick drying properties because the water also dried up very quickly. We highly recommend this product. Our girl actually chose to sit on this mat rather than sit on the wet grass / gravel.
