New 290 Degree Peephole Wide Angle Door Viewer in Black

Came on time and in a small box. No instructions or anything, but none are really needed. You screw it off, insert into hole, screw back together...see youtube.Door prep is another thing. I had to put this into a metal door, so a wood drill bit would not work. I bought a 5/8 In. Bi-Metal Hole Saw, and this worked extremely well for the installation.Before putting it in, I put just a little bit of silicone behind the lens to make it water tight.We started out looking for a viewer that would allow us to stand back 4-6 feet and look through, but after looking at reviews, decided to go with this one. For viewing, the angle cannot be beat! We have a an odd shaped porch, and now, we only have one small area where someone could hide and not be seen. Otherwise, we can see everything because of the angle of this viewer. It is very clear to look through and has worked out great for us. Would recommend this viewer to anyone.PS the kids think we need to get another one that they can look through without having to be picked up. :-)

The extra wide lens lets you see if anyone is hiding under the peephole or off to the side of the door. Most standard peepholes won't be able to see as much so this is definitely worth the money. You can rotate the lens for extra vantage left to right or up/down but cannot get both simultaneously. You will need two peepholes if you need extra wide viewing angles on both axis (axii? axises?)

This is such a great peephole! I can't comment on how easy it was to install because my apartment complex installed it for me, but they did a great job! The picture I attached isn't the best because of the lighting, but I love that I can see who is coming up my apartment staircase and I can see my doormat (not pictured) and the ceiling of my porch. This is amazing! My only wish is that it came with a peephole cover (but that's not a deal breaker).

Fantastic view thru this peephole - but arrived with 5 chips in the lenses! Shipped in only a plastic bag with NO packing material. Had to return.

It does its job, was easy to install, but I found it to be over priced after I saw it at a store ,same quality AND cheaper.live and learn! EA.

It came with dust embeded between the glass so even if i clean it, you can see the particles. Plus the cover/flap thingy is made of cheap looking plastic.

This is a really good peephole! I was able to install it in no time and I can see so much more than what I thought I would. I had no problems - no issues. You won't be sorry you made this purchase.

This thing is so awesome I had to write a review. It will fit into most peepholes, I had to widen my peephole just a bit for it to fit. The peephole is so crystal-clear I can even see my neighbors across the street. No one can escape my view now.I took some pictures with my phone but they do not do justice. You can see there is a package on my doorstep with a whites shipping label on it.
