Perfect muting solution
Other reviews have mentioned issues with this device. Operator error is not justification for a bad review. Silent, preset as a latching mute button, and the only solution I could find with an on off indicator. It's perfect, EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED. It is NOT noisy, and is easy to adjust to specific needs. Worth every penny...

Not good for quiet spaces if you are trying to be discreet.
I’m trying to find a mute switch for my vocal booth which is separated from the rest of my equipment. I bought the cdpm power mute based of reviews that it doesn’t pop, and I’ll give it credit, it has very little electrical noise when going to mute and back. My problem is the mechanical switch on it. It makes a very loud clicking sound when pressed (you can hear it start to click halfway down into mute and the full click during unmute) so I am a little let down. Now I either have to return the device or see if I can remove the mechanical switch and install a softer switch. And for $130 dollars I’m pretty sure I’m gonna return it.

Broke after 3 months
Muting was silent for me which was nice. But the physical sound of the switch is rather loud. But worst of all it stopped working after only 3 months. I expected better quality for the price.

No pops
Perfect box when you need a performer to be able to mute a mic onstage with phantom power. Other devices will create a POP as the switch is engaged- this one lets the Phantom Power through, but mutes the audio.

No directions in box
I wanted to use this as Push To Talk but with no directions, I can't figure out how to change the settings. Not sure if it is possible. So I haven't been able to use it as it was shipped.

Little pricy tbh but it's not like there's much competition 🤷♂️
