Very good fit and quality for the price
I was looking for lightweight nylon pants to wear doing light yard work etc. in hot weather. I didn't like what I found and then found these pants for not much more than cheap sweats and gave them a try. I had to check the label to see if they are really 100% nylon since they feel more like a light 50/50 cotton canvas blend. Stronger, tougher, and better made than I expected and I think they will be durable. Not quite as lightweight as I was looking for but no fault of the pants for that and they still feel cool with good breathability. Sizing as about right with decent styling. A bit wider at the cuffs than I like but not flared or floppy. They are quite "business casual" (they are still cargo pants) but certainly "country casual" nice enough to wear in most places. I am very pleased and will likely get another pair.

Not Convertible Pants
NOT CONVERTIBLE AS SHOWN!!! My initial review was 1 star as I was not happy that the pants are not as shown. I tried them on they fit well, very good construction, super light weight and look good. A little pricey at $65. So overall 4 stars on the pants (-1 because I think they are about $20 too high) and then a -1 star for advertising convertible pants and not being that.

Good quality, well constructed pants.
These are really nice, well constructed pants. 100% nylon fabric, with triple stitching along the legs, and reinforced rear cuff layer. The fabric is a little heavier than most "quick dry" pants, and is very soft to the touch. I find the feel and drape of the pants superior to most others. These have a somewhat relaxed fit; mid height rise; and a diamond shaped gusset. This is good, because the fabric is 100% nylon, and has virtually no stretch or give - so a little more room in the cut is needed if your are going to be active at all in the pants. Normally I wear a 32 X 30, but ordered a 33X30 after reading other reviews. Waist was just right, but length is a little long (about like a 31" or 32" inseam instead). Shortening the length is a little problematic due to the reinforced cuff, but not impossible unless you want to take it up more than an inch or so. Pants have only one rear pocket, with zipper closure. Also has a cargo pocket on the leg. I don't really like leg cargo pockets, but the one on these pants is not bad. It is placed so that you don't feel it rubbing on your thigh much. It is also a good security pocket, having both a Velcro outer flap, and an interior zipper pocket. They washed up well, although there was a little puckering along the leg seams (a little disappointing). Waistband has a slick surfaced liner. This feature is not a positive - shirt tails pull out real easy, and the pants slide down a little unless you really cinch your belt up tight. I would suggest a redesign here, replacing the slick liner with a high friction liner. Overall though, these are good, high quality casual pants.

Awesome pants, horrible sizing
I love these pants but be wary of sizing. I am 5'11", 185 pounds. I normally wear a 33/34 jeans, but the 33/34 on these was like squeezing into doll clothes. I got 34/36 and it fit great, so definitely size UP. Apart from that, really like them. Very comfy and great for hiking or working outside, especially in warmer weather.

Not for heavy lifters.
If you spend any time in the gym Mountain Khaki products will disappoint you. I have tried several different fits, sizes and models (I really WANT to like them) but have only found one pair of shorts that seem to fit and only after a long break-in period. They are designed for skinny rock climbers that have never seen a squat cage.

Best hiking pants I've found
I'm outdoors constantly and I tend to do a lot of bushwhacking and scrambling across rather abrasive rocks. So as you can imagine my personal history with hiking pants is littered with shredded seams and ripped out asses that always seem happen at horribly inconvenient times. ("Ok everyone, clip into the rope and follow the guy with the shredded ass up the pitch!")And honestly I've done the same to these but they've held up longer than anything else I've tried. All the seams are triple stitched and I like the tradeoff between light and comfortable to move in yet rugged material. The pockets are well laid out and the belt loops are reenforced which really helps and I'm always hanging cameras or GPS's off them when running around without a pack. They're a lot more comfortable than the zip off variation when you're scrambling I'm on my 4th pair and probably spent week 6 months total time living in them on various trips.

Button fell off.
I love the brand. The fit was excellent. The button on the waist fell off when I put them on the first time. Very disappointed.

Quick drying, sturdy, and look good
I bought these to take traveling to places that I would not have access to a dryer for my laundry. These pants worked out almost perfectly.Plus: -- they do dry quickly. i travelled to a slightly subtropical climate. they dried (almost completely) by morning. -- very durable construction and sturdy material -- they look as good as any cotton khaki, could be worn to casual work environment -- the fabric "breathes" nicely -- the fabric does not have a static kling as some synthetic materials doMinus: -- does not have much stretch to the material, which makes them less comfortable than cotton -- compared to blue jeans of the same measurement, the cut of these felt about an inch tighterBonuses: -- the minuses motivated me to work on my muffin top -- had a few zippered hidden pockets, which has very useful when traveling with lots of currency on hand
