Really good staff to make your dance floor shine and make people dance and enjoy the night by making some lighting set up

I use this for church lighting. Pretty small scale, but need a lot of features like dimming and smooth scene changes. Also needed the ability to add lights or change colors and dimming on the fly. This has everything I need and more. So far, this is SO much better than the programming nightmare and inflexibleness that the Obey 40 (or equivalent) had that I was using. The software interface is fairly straightforward and easy to use, though I don't know what a lot of the buttons do, yet.

Really happy with the new features. Also happy you can import My DMX 2.0 files and use it on this. I like the layers and having individual control of different sets of fixtures. Great for my mobile DJ setup.

I have a brand new MacBook Pro, the software crashes every-time it's launched. If you look at the support forum many complaints and the company has not solved the issue. Also, this device sends DMX signals out when the software is not running, this caused my lights to start doing strange things including reset for no reason - continuously. Lastly, if you plan on wanting to use a MIDI input, such as an APC mini, you have to pay another $100 dollars making this really cost 400 bucks. I hate a sneaky business approach. Sending this back ASAP. I would say look on the forums to see if you feel this company responds well to customer complaints. I wanted this to work since the software looks like it is the most advanced, but it continues to crash. Update - I’ve changed the rating on this after finding out that another app that snapped windows in OS10 was what what causing the app to crash. Uninstalling it corrected the problem. Wish their support could have been better then just sending emails.

My dmx 3.0 works great with lighting system we have at our church. we use the mydmx 2.1 software because it is easier for volunteers to work with.

once you get to grips with programming you can do so much with this unit/sofdware would highly recomend

The only problem I have with this thing is the lack of adequate tutorials online to help you get going. You have to spend a few hours messing with it to get it going. And it's difficult to figure out which light profile to use with your light, each light has multiple choices. However, once you get the confusion out of the way, it works great and suddenly your confusing sound mode light show is a professional looking presentation you can design and edit at home and keep on your computer until show time.
